Unexpected Twists

I enjoyed this book. Performance was excellent. Lots of suspense and twists. Gripped from the beginning. Not sure what I wanted to happen in the end but I was left feeling a bit dissatisfied with it. Overall though, it was very good and I would recommend to a friend.

Amazing story and performance! I was sucked in from the beginning, but the last few chapters were just so good!

Good but slow

I think the concept and story were great but the pace was just super slow. I usually love this author and I typically blow through thrillers. I listen to books a lot while I work- but I found myself avoiding listening because it wasn’t holding my attention.

Pitch Perfect

Fantastic prose, tight storyline without a ton of gigantic plot-holes. Great characters- solid performance. One of the best I’ve listened to in a while!!

Excellent Story, Wish there were more Details in Closing

I think this easily could have been a series. I loved the whole story except the ending I felt was wrapped up too quickly. I would have loved to have a second book exploring the ways Luke was able to stay hidden for 7 years. At first I thought the crime family story he wrote to Cam was truly about his own life, but I suppose not. However, it could have been made way more complex if Luke was hiding details like that trying to protect Cam rather than the whole thing happening because of one night out trying to get the baby to sleep.
