Timeless

I read this for the first time when I was 16, and have been meaning to reread it for years. I’m 26 now and finally got to it. There’s a reason it was and still is my favorite book.

Amazing dualing narratives. The story is captivating, the narration is superb, the coming of age is real.

so good

loved the book, the audiobook is just as good. lyrical, some “problematic” relationships that truly feel are common and maybe should not be held against the author, a lot of hurt went into this book and a lot of healing. sometimes it comes in disguise.

Healed me in so many ways

I’m a young teen, who struggled with simply being gay in America. This book showed me so many things. I can’t thank it enough for that.
