Death at the Quartz mine

I listened to this and could not get over how stereotypical the characters were of the old south. There were some interesting points but over all I did not enjoy this the story nor the narration.

I probably will not continue this series or at the very least not in audio.

Excellent Narration & Story

Mark and Donna finally on a honeymoon, no cases, no dead bodies. When their new car over heats, and no cell phone reception, leaving them in a remote area. They set out walking coming to a place, and finding owner had been murdered. Wasn’t liked, and the sheriff in this tiny town, had never worked a murder. Twists and turns, as you want to know why, did the murderer know they were coming, and wanted to be caught. Interesting, and wanting answers, her books never disappoint her readers.
Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

Loved it

Another great cozy mystery with Donna and Mark. There honeymoon was supposed to be a relaxing fun time but as in the past murder always seems to find them. I’m so looking forward to listening to the rest of the Painted Lady Inn saga.
