Another Great Reaper story

DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS BOOK IF YOU HAVEN’T LISTENED OR READ FEVER. There are several references to events that occur in Fever which would spoil that book. Now for this book it is another great Reaper story I would recommend.

More than a Temptation

This book was received as an ARC from Donna Grant’s ARC Angels, the following opinions and commentary are my own and no way reflect the greater DG Groupie Community. Dark Alpha’s Temptation is a Reaper book, and is a part of the Greater Dark World—Fae, Druids, Warriors and Dragon Kings. This book is a part of series of books and really should not be read as a stand-alone book, long built story arcs are coming to a close.

Kyra is a daring light fae, she is following a Reaper which if she is found out could mean a death sentence. However, she is utterly fascinated with the dark Fae Reaper and can not help herself from following him since he keeps showing up. She hopes he has the answers to what happened to her missing Aunt. Dubhan is on a mission to find Xaneth, but is side tracked by a beautiful light Fae and a symbol from his past. Together they unravel the secrets of the symbol and learn more about their own families, and thus themselves.

This book answers a few story arcs from the Dark King series, however the main question that has been dragging on since the Dark Warrior books has still not been answered. There is enough going on and enough questions answered that you don’t miss the clues about Rhi and her King. If you have questions as to what the “Others” are, and what are they up too… this book is for you. Donna Grant is a wonderful writer and I highly recommend this book and all books from the Dark World.

Another great editions to the Dark World

DARK ALPHA’S TEMPTATION is the 9th book of the Reaper series, Which also branches off from the dragon king books. This book follows Dunhan, a Dark Fae that is part of the second groups of Reapers and Kyra a Light Fae who happened to come across the reapers while battling one of you Usaeil’s trackers in the previous book. Kyra is an amazing character. She always sees the good in people and just wants to live her life to the fullest. Her and Dunhan connection to each other is the driving force behind this book. They are very sweet together and seem to be one another’s missing piece.

The story arcs that continue from the previous reaper books as well as the dragon kings. We learn more about the mysterious group “the others” and they make a few assumptions about previously on the answer questions.

This book is wonderful however I do not feel it is a standalone. To really get the full potential of this book and enjoy the experience to the fullest you need to read all of the previous books and some of the Dragon kings. Once again Donna Grant has done an amazing job.

Dubhan & Kyra

Dubhan & Kyra Wow! Things are really heating up in the Dark World. We are discovering more about the others and not really getting the full picture. I know that they don't like the Dragon Kings, but I really don't getting why?!? The DK's have been good to everyone who has shown up on the realm. given them a home and protected them. I can't wait to get the whole story and discover what happened to these Druids that started it all that turned them so much against the DK's. I also wonder about the questions that have been raised about the DK's and their mates. Which got me thinking about the Warriors and the fact that all of their mates are Druids?!?!? Will this all link back up in the final conclusion to this story. I want to hear more from the warriors.
Dubhan and Kyra are great together. Their a great match and this was a great story that really didn't focus on them as much as it did the larger story.

Fantastic Book!

I really love this book. The story just gets better and better Donna Grant weaves the stories together in such a way that you become part of their world. Victoria McGloven’s narration brings the characters to vivid life and you hate to finish the book because you will have to leave them and their world. I very highly recommend this book.

#9 Was SUBLIME!!

As always I am honored to receive this ARC ahead of it's release! Donna Grant is the BEST!!

This is the ninth book in Donna Grant’s reaper series. This one revolves around Kyra and Dubhan. Kyra is a powerful light fae who is unaware of just how powerful her family blood line is. Kyra was immediately drawn to Dubhan when she witnessed the battle at the Light castle. Unsure of why she's drawn to him so fiercely she finds she can follow him with just a thought.

Kyra's been trying to find her Aunt with no luck. Hoping Dubhan can help she chooses to help him first and in so doing learns about the "others" and how her family is involved.

This installment is soo romantic and answers alot of series questions but of course as always brings up new ones! Lol

Loved it..

Yay! Another Reaper book. I absolutely love the Reapers, and the Dragon Kings as well. I really liked Kyra and Dubhan and all the Reapers that show up in each book.

This one was about the “Others” who are so powerful that Reapers are worried. They killed 2 of Kyra’s friends and a Fae that once was her lover. And they aren’t even sure Usaeil is actually dead.

This is such good series of novellas.

There was explicit sex in this and the F-bomb is now Fek.

As to the narration: Victoria McGloven does a great job on the male voices. Love, love, love female narrators who can make a man sound like a man.

Sexy, immortal, justice dealing (Fae) Irishman

In this latest installment of the Reaper series by Donna Grant, we follow Kyra and Dubhan's burgeoning romance. The backdrop is Ireland, amidst the backlash of the events that took place in the Dark Kings book Fever. Dark Alpha's Temptation is not a stand-alone novel. Many books lead to this point, and I fear a new reader would be lost if this is their first in Donna Grant's Dark World series. Prior publications are worth the experience, and one could go back a long way. I love a richly developed setting, and this series is one of my favorites in the urban fantasy/paranormal romance style. Dubhan is what you would expect out of a Reaper. Who can resist a sexy, immortal, justice dealing Irishman? Kyra is a courageous heroine to match. Together they are an attractive, charming couple. Overall I enjoyed their story.

Random spoilery thoughts: This book gave us more information on the threat to Reaper allies, and the Reapers themselves, which I enjoyed getting. After the events in Fever, I was hoping for a theory I had to be confirmed here, which it was not. I could be wrong, but time will tell. Until then I will have to deal with the lingering sorrow and frustration.

Looks like I missed something

Ok, so they clearly should have released the next Dragon Kings novel before this book because I've clearly missed something.

All in all it's a pretty good book.
