Super informative

I enjoyed this book quite a bit. It’s very interesting to hear the inner workings of the government at a time when such unprecedented actions were taking place. I feel like Mr. Campbell tries and succeeds in keeping a bipartisan approach to reporting the story. Mr. Campbell also narrated the book himself which was refreshing because you’re literally hearing the story come from his own mouth. Thank you Josh for doing your duty and I’m sorry to the government you so diligently worked for failed you as well as so many other Americans. Hopefully there is someone out there that can right this ship sooner than later.

Drinking the Comey Kool Aid?

Mr. Campbell has mastered the art of delusion and misrepresentation. Playing on 12 years of experience and reporting his first-hand perspectives painted a picture of reality! In truth, his biased opinions make a compelling argument for not listening to this book.

Comey made mistakes, but..,

Trump has shown disdain for anyone who does not full throatedly sing his praises. This book shows the opposing side of his mistreatment of the FBI. A good listen indeed.

Josh Campbell is a True Patriotic American!

I enjoyed his narration and the candor expressed in his first-hand assessment of the challenging, sobering & contentious climate we, as Americans find ourselves in. His stepping away from a career of service at one of our nation’s most revered and sacred institutions to continue his service in another capacity in order to shed light on the chaos and undermining of the very fabric of this country is commendable and shows true patriotism. How so many Americans have forgotten what America represents and have turned their American origin into a Trumplican following is heartbreaking and terrifying. Thank you, Josh Campbell for authoring this book and I pray Americans will read it and that we come together and salvage our great country before it’s too late.

Riveting story told by an insider

I thought I knew the ins and outs of Russian interference in the 2016 election, but came away from this book with a vastly improved understanding. Good mix of journalism and insider perspective on some of the most meaningful political and foreign relations events of our time. Highly recommended.

Narcissisast in the White House

How anyone with a clue can think trump is anything other than a Traitor using every chance to promote doubt in Americas Institutions, for example DEMOCRACY. He does not hide his devotion to Horrible people whether they are murderous dictators or sleazy people like the Roger Stone and Paul Manafort. America has dug itself a hole that we may never get out.

awesome book by Josh. I've always liked his reporting on CNN but this book takes it to another level. Very detailed account of the investigation into Russian interference and Trumps role as a conspirator. Recommended reading.

Brilliant, straight to the point, highly recommend

I have watched the unfolding of the 2016 election daily for the last three years from the UK and people ask why, well, Josh Campbell literally sums it up for me in this amazingly put together book. Easy to read, explained in a way that provides the relevant facts with a host of different perspectives and key events explained. Focussing on the most important issue currently at hand.. the FBI and their reputation that has been distorted for political gain and truly peels back the actual truth about an independent FBI that the people of the United States of America should hold up with the highest of esteem. I learned of things during this book that only Josh Campbell's insights could have taught me. The description of how James Comey's firing really took place. I felt that gut wrenching punch of how it unfolded, his flight back home, the devastating hit to the morale of the FBI family and to Josh himself, an outstanding friend you could only wish to have had during this time. He would be be the first to say that he was just one person out of many who worked alongside James Comey but the relationship I took away from this book was one of honesty, integrity and compassion for his fellow Director and colleagues at the FBI. Josh Campbell took a stand. He left the FBI, a job he loved to get the word out to help the institution he loves. He makes relevant criticisms and praises where praise should be. I've watched Josh Campbell on CNN and follow his Twitter feed because to me he is a very well educated person, doesn't beat around the bush, sticks to the facts and is a trusted former member of the FBI, trusted Journalist (his coverage from how the process works in his field of expertise to his coverage of Jamal Khashoggi's brutal murder as just one example) and his passion and determination for those who serve. In this time of uncertainty where partisan politics are at play for all the world to see on their TVs internationally, the dramatics, the lies, the just pure obscene, you need someone like Josh Campbell to decipher truth from fiction and for others to hear his plea...when the FBI are being lied about for political and partisan gain...it's time to speak out! Your safety depends on their independence and you'll want them by your side during a crisis. Excellent read. I read it straight through, overnight. It's morning and I think I'll go to sleep now. Just couldn't turn it off. Well done Josh Campbell. If you know nothing at all about what's going on in our allied Country, read this book, Josh Campbell's Crossfire Hurricane, explains it all.
