An Excellent Review of What Happened

Rep Schiff is an excellent writer and he lays out easily and powerfully what exactly happened during the impeachments of the former guy as well as of much of the 4 years of the last administration. It is informative, historical, enlightening, courageous and thoughtful. We must not forget! Please recommend this to all your friends. Adam is an excellent reader of his work as well!

Excellent insight, storytelling & facts

A superbly written and fascinating look into the inner workings of democratic attem to keep government that is lost at sea due to the crazy, lie-loving captain at the helm for 4 years. Spectacularly interesting & also downright infuriating. It’s very hard to hear how much worse some of these republicans are than we even thought. Always dealing in bad faith and for their own self interest and double dealings - no wonder trump was welcomed with open arms. They are sadly the same in many circumstances. Sad reminder that there are only a few people of honor left on the right in politics. However hopeful that this country wakes up and begins to give those doing good a fighting chance. Hopeful to hear how much self sacrifice is given from our countrymen who work in government and the good guys left in politics. This book is a must read for any lover of modern events, politics and human decency.

This was a lifting of the cloak of misinformation about how America and its democracy was almost destroyed!

I love the fact that Adam Schiff narrated this very American story about over coming division and ruthless threats to hold on to power at any costs. I wish that those vehemently loyal people showing blind allegiance to their false god Trump would listen to the some of words of someone from someone who had a front row seat to two of the most dramatic events in the nation’s history! Mr. Schiff’s book is the proverbial canary and in a coal mine. We have only a small amount of time before this potentially destructive form of evil once again threatens are fragile democracy. We must be vigilant and aware that the next threat to our country might succeed in its goal to return the most powerful position in the world to someone like or worse than Donald J. Trump. Thank you Mr. Schiff for speaking truth to power. In my view you and you brave colleagues are true patriots and defenders of the most precious thing we have as a country, or belief and faith in a our constitutional democracy.

My Audible Impression of: Midnight in Washington

I followed day-by-day the live occurrences which are covered in this book. I had believed myself to be well versed in those events. The reading of this book filled in so many gaps of which I was ignorant about.
