Love the premise. Good advice but must get beyond the delivery.

I love the premise of this book but it was a little bit difficult to listen to at first because so much of the initial content was spent on talking about her accomplishments
I have no problem with her Texas twang, but her delivery did seem a bit forced at times. However keep listening as it really is worthwhile and there is a lot of good advice and good pointers in this book.
Having grown up on a ranch and been a cowgirl all my life, this book held a special interest for me. I have also been a small business owner and entrepreneur for more than 25 years so it was doubly important. For those of us who have that cowgirl mentality, this book is a fabulous affirmation of what we do well and correctly.
Bottom line, I do strongly recommend this book.

Excellent Book

This book is filled with some really great information from Gay Gaddis. I am not in a position of leadership or status at my job, but the information is relevant to any part of your life. It is business specific and even female business specific....but i found so many gems of knowledge and information that can be applied to any area. Very helpful, and inspiring. Her voice can be a little hard to get used to at first, as well as her style of reading...but if you can look past that you will really find this book so helpful and inspiring. Gay is funny, smart, and loaded with wisdom....she's a kickass cowgirl for sure.

All women in business need a tip in becoming a cowgirl

I would recommend this book to any woman in business who could use a refresher in what it means to be a cowgirl. The author is from Texas and uses her experiences to speak to women worldwide on how to thrive in business and life. I will definitely be listening again soon!
