Dark and erotic

The book has some paranormal staff, a lot of hot sex scenes and psychological games. This story has a very interesting and exciting beginning; however, as it progresses it is all about Cassandra's sex drive and no actual storyline.

Narrator was great. She was able to portray all the emotions and used different voices for numerous characters.

LEFT WITH AN UNKNOWING FEELING

This book, Its so strange but good in a dark way. I had to keep going to see what happened to Cassandra and Markos. It gave me all sorts of different emotions. I'm still left with loving/hating/confusion/contentment. The narrator Meghan Kelly was amazing, I appreciate the smoothness of the reading.

My Thoughts on Consumed

This dark paranormal romance took me by surprise. It was very erotic and twisty and kind of a mind f***. But it holds your attention. It makes you stick with it and keep at it to see what comes next.

The narration was perfection. I love Meghan Kelly's voice and every time I listen to a new audiobook by her I am reminded by why I love listening to her. Her tone is engaging and I love the distinction she has between her male and female voice.

After this story I look forward to checking out more by Sara Fields who is a new to me author. And I know I will be listening to more by Meghan Kelly as I continue to be a huge fan.

Darkness Consumes the Light! 4.5 Diabolical Stars!

Sara Fields is a master at creating dark BDSM stories and Consumed is no exception. The storylines and characters are interesting and well developed. The lead, Kassandra, an agent for the interpol, while attending a party at billionaire Markos Varela’s place in Greece she starts snooping around attempting to find dirt on him. She finds a locked room on the lower level but is caught and brought to straight to Marcos who then forces Kassandra to submit to him. He also realized she is a warrior of light and he is determined to Consume her, Body, Mind and Soul. Taking Kassandra by force he does things to her to the point where she is begging for more. Suddenly she is back home in her bed, she does not know how she got there. The story gets more and more interesting, things happen and she has no idea if they are real or in her head. She also has no idea of who she, that her bloodline is a direct descendent of the warrior of light, the light to Markos’ darkness, the good to his evil. Marcos is a vampire and one bad@ss, hardcore Dom who demands to have his way. Markos & Cassandra story is an intense one, it is a page turner and will make your hair stand stand on end. The Kindle included an epilogue which I really appreciated and Markos love for Kassandra.

I listened to the Audible edition, narrated by the mega talented Meghan Kelly. She performs the voices of all the characters, she brings them to life, gives each their own personality and voice. Her Markos was strong and demanding, her Kassandra vulnerable and confused at time, she made you feel his power and her desperation and need. Meghan Kelly is an awesome voice performer and a pleasure to listen to. Thanks for another great & entertaining listen🎧
