In true Sara Fields fashion, On Her Knees has an imaginative high school/bully/mafia dynamic. It has all the feels and elements of an adult BDSM relationship between H/h. It's gripping, intense and dramatic. Bridget Bordeaux and Gavin McAllister did an amazing job narrating this book.Thank you for the great listen.

Sara Fields is a new author to me. This book is a high school bully romance with a dash of Mafia. Cole is the bastard son of the Mafia head. He has lived estranged from his father and half brother his entire life. Blaire is known as the Ice Queen. When she tries to belittle and dominate Cole she gets put in her place. With some light BDSM at play Blaire learns where her place is; at Cole's side. When his father and brother were murdered everything changes. I really enjoyed this book. Bridget Bordeaux and Gavin McAllister did an amazing job narrating this book.

this was a good book. lots of drama. if you like mafia stories this is the book for you. the narrator did an awesome job too 👏😀

On Her Knees – Blaire and Cole

Blaire meets Cole when she is just a little girl starving. He takes her to lunch with his bodyguard. He calls his mafia kingpin father (he is his illegitimate son) to ask that he help her and her family. HIs father does. Blaire ends up at Stonewall Academy where Cole also attends even though he is a few years older. Blaire was a real b!tch, a real mean girl. She goes to his house to tell him that she found out he is the son of a mafia boss. You can’t threaten someone associated with the mafia. He takes her v-card and does every and anything to her while she is there, then kicks her out for her own protection. She was so hurt that she vowed to get back at him. She may be tough but Cole is much tougher. This was a really good story. I am sorry that this is not part of a series to find out how Cole and Blaire navigate Cole being the mafia kingpin after his father and brother are killed. Bridget Bordeaux and Gavin McAllister did a great job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Different than expected

This is the second book I've read/listened to by Sarah Fields. I normally read the blurb of a book before choosing it, but this time I just went by the title and cover, so it wasn't quite what I was expecting. This is about two young adults, twenty years old and eighteen years old, still in school. They made decisions teens would make as well as seeming like more mature adults. Their knowledge of kink just kept taking me out of the story, as well as his ability to make such wise decisions. I can't say too much without spoilers, so.... If there was some background on how they'd know such kink and ability to know how to lead, it would have drawn me deeper into the story. It was a great storyline otherwise. Would have loved for this book to be more indepth and longer.

Bridget Bordeaux and Gavin McAllister were excellent narrators. Their performances were spot on.

This story is intense , erotic, dark, steamy. Col and Blair both attend Stonewall Academy. Col is the illegitimate son of a mafia Dom. He tries to stay hidden under the radar. Blair is the outgoing, popular girl, who rules the school. Tragedy changes life for Col. Now he is immersed into the dangerous world of the mafia.
This story is full of plot twists with a mafia element. Sara Fields writes what she does best. Erotic, steamy stories with danger, intrigue and plot twists.
Bridgette Bardeaux and Gavin McAllister narration is exciting, intense.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story.

If you like BDSM romance

Audiobook Review 🎧

This is a completely new author for me. I found it of interest when I read it was bully romance which is my trope of choice. The mention of mafia romance got me too. This book was a not the traditional bully romance and was really all BDSM. The characters were also in high school.

If you enjoy BDSM then you may enjoy this book, I found it a little too out of touch with reality as the level of knowledge of BDSM was a little much for high schoolers. Add the fact that Blaire was a virgin and is thrown into extreme sexual techniques right from the get-go was just too much for me.

I felt as the “bully” Blaire didn’t match up to most bullies. Sure she was mean at times but when it came to Col she was very submissive. I honestly wanted her to fight a little more but quickly feel to Col’s every command.

I think this story could have been really enjoyable had it not felt so rushed.

I will say the narration and performance of this audiobook was fantastic! I think it’s what propelled me to finish the book. I’d definitely listen to these narrators again for sure.

Queen of the School and her Mafia Boss

If you came here for a bully, mafia, impact play romance high on spice, you came to the right place. I would not necessarily call it a D/s relationship because consent is not always enthusiastically given but there is a power dynamic at play. This story is a lot of fun, heavily focused on the heat in the beginning but more of the mafia side does come out as the story progresses. If you are new to Sara Fields' writing I think this is a great place to start.

The narration is HOT. Very easy to listen to and captures the characters perfectly. The chemistry between Col and Blaire is scorching hot and that is voiced so well.

Sara Fields always delivers the best punishments.
