A worthy successor

If you liked the other three book you are going to love this book. This is part of a series so don't listen to it until you've listened to the other books. Unlike so many series it doesn't get stale! Buy it you won't be disappointed.

good series

great series with lots of moving parts i just wanted some of the paths to have a defining ending. The characters are very well balanced and defined but they tend to disappear and reappear which doesn't make the story flow well. Overall this series has tremendous potential and I can't wait for the next

wait wait wait

spoiler warning, at the end of the book there is this being that appears and says that lan sent him to find his son, does that mean that lan is weis real father and that is why he knows so much about him and why he is so depressed over that girl he keeps going on about.

Good good not great good

Book is more of the same. Just finding different names and placing them on creatures or people and making them do a different skill and then ju wei surpasses them or does something greater than the greatest thing that has ever been done. As the world turns the names of something greater comes and Wei does amazing and benefits extraordinary. Don’t get me wrong with cultivation books you need to be aware that OP is part of it most of the time, but it seems Je Wei should have been killed by now. The author needs to throw in some better schemes for Wei to get out of. Someone more powerful should have smoked him already. Lol. He is still my favorite character though. Lol

author needs to focus on attention to detail

if you ignore the time progression, this story is ok. also, someone introduce the author to the term redundant prose. please. otherwise, good story. may someday be a great story as the author matures.

More of the same.

Maybe even a bit better than earlier. Nice to see his 'wife' again. The only bad part is the repetioion of earlier events.
