A Moving and Beautifully Crafted Memoir

The story is riveting, the writing eloquent and insightful, and the performance by Cassandra Campbell, particularly her portrayal of different accents and voices, is superb. I listened, I laughed, I cried. A deeply satisfying and memorable listening experience, like being treated to a delicious Persian Jewish meal and delicate pastries lovingly prepared by the author's mother.
