But Abbey has good information to pass along: The vamps in Los Angeles have become organized human traffickers, and the club they use is a good front.

Determined to stop them once and for all, Katrina gears up for the fight of her un-life. And she vows that she’ll take the vampires out no matter the cost.

I might be a convert!

I don't usually do Audio books but am doing this Bingo Challenge with some reader friends and I decided to check off a few boxes (which is totally allowable in our rule!) to read a book (1) "With Teeth" (aka vampires) - ✅, (2) located in California (this one is in L.A.) - ✅, and (3) an AudioBook🎧 - ✅.
The book was well paced and answered all the questions anyone could have about what an "Odonata" is. The heroine was an awesome Bada$$! (which would have checked off a 4th box had I not already read one of those) and the plot was well crafted.
Audio books are my least favorite thing because my mind tends to wander (#lifewithADHD) but this one held my attention with the descriptive passages and action packed story.
(and now I'm off to find a book to satisfy my last square for my Bingo Card!)

Very poor production, lots of static ...

So ...
This actually seems like it'll be a fun read but there's too much background noise and static and I just cannot stand it.

If you're interested in this one, I recommend print or digital—NOT the audio. I'm not sure why this was approved in this condition.
