Overall a good series

The first two books Captivated and Etranced were the best written and definately the best narrated of the four book series. Charmed and Enchanted were not quite as good but enjoyable. My main criticism is the male narrater on book 4, Enchanted. He is not very good, but I think this type of book is definately better narrated by a female . The first two books were much more entertaining to listen to with the wonderful narrater. I do enjoy a series, especially when the same narrater is used.

If you could sum up Charmed in three words, what would they be?

Sweet, charming, warm.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I really loved Boone. He's such a wonderful father and has such a loving relationship with his daughter.

What about Cristina Panfilio’s performance did you like?

I was especially impressed with her voice for Jessie, the little girl. She sounded just as I'd pictured her.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved the whole scene where Morgana has her twins. The chaos downstairs, the welcoming of the children, it was thoroughly charming.

Bad narration

Would you try another book from Nora Roberts and/or Cristina Panfilio?

Why didn't you finish the series with the same narrator? Therese Plummer did an excellent job on the first 2 books. If I had read this one first I'd never have read the other books in the series!

How did the narrator detract from the book?

No Irish accent, not enough difference in characters to make it interesting.

love all of Nora's books! can't get enough and can't wait to read the next!

great story

I Really like the trilogy, especially the witches books. all are great, I was not disappointed.

This was a great story and I almost didn't listen to due to reviews about the narrator. I thought she did great and enjoyed the story as well. Very heartwarming.

Love the story not the performance

The story was great but the voices the narrators voices were cheesy taking me out of the moment of the story.

Nora Roberts is one of my favorite authors. This is part of a series in a modern day settings in America with mystical roots to Ireland.

Have read print copies of the series and loved them all !!

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Her female voices were, well ~~ okay even if it was difficult to tell which character was speaking, but the males ~~ OMG !! Nash and Sebastian were absolutely horrible !!

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment ~~ couldn't finish listening to audio.
