Great book

I wrote a review early in listening to this book, and want to review again because it is so good. Very insightful, very helpful in learning to be a champion in the wilderness of life. I liked it so much I bought a hard copy as well, and will use them both over again.

Five Stars all around

I couldn’t have listened to this book at a better time. As we entered into the unknown of the COVID-19 pandemic, these short devos every morning helped remind me of God’s goodness. I’d recommend this devotional for any adult, but especially those, like me, who are easily overwhelmed by the mystery of the future. This book was a comfort. Thank you, Bob.

Great devotional to guide you through hard times

This book was so uplifting on a regular basis. It helped me see God in places n times he seemed distance. Nice devotional to encourage and see one through what may seem to be a wilderness. Author has insightful and interesting ways to bring the biblical point. Rock stead doctrine. Cool personal stories. A thinker.

Encouraging, Practical, & Worthwhile

This is a wonderful book that encouraged me when I was in a wilderness experience. Bob does a great job providing deep spiritual truths in a down to earth and practical way. I love the format of each chapter, it is really designed to help you reflect and study the topic of each chapter with thought provoking questions and additional scriptures to read. I am going through it a second time and I am taking away just as much, if not more than the first time. Even if you don't feel like you are in a wilderness experience, it still can convict and encourage you to deepen your relationship with God. Bob also provides lighthearted moments along the way that make you chuckle as they illustrate funny points about humanity. I listened to this book through Audible and the narrator was fantastic. He has a calming voice and speaks as if he is a wise father-like friend. It is worth a read!
