Based on the keynote message that so moved government leaders at the 2017 National Prayer Breakfast, US Senate Chaplain Barry Black's Make Your Voice Heard in Heaven shows us how to pray prayers that God will hear. Story
In 1987, Dr. Benjamin Carson gained worldwide recognition for his part in the first successful separation of Siamese twins joined at the back of the head. The extremely complex and delicate operation, five months in the planning and twenty-two hours in the execution, involved a surgical plan that Carson helped initiate. Carson pioneered again in a rare procedure known as hemispherectomy, giving children without hope a second chance at life through a daring operation in which he literally removed one half of their brain.

Story
David Ireland, pastor of a multiracial megachurch in New Jersey and diversity consultant to the NBA, equips Christians to usher in a new era of racial reconciliation in One in Christ. Racial disharmony is tearing communities apart, both inside and outside the church. But Jesus Christ is, and was, a great reconciler. Warmth, regard, and respect emanated from His person toward others - all others. Part of this allure was the fact Jesus was comfortable in His skin. This made others who approached Him comfortable in their skin.

Story
The CIA is looking for walking contradictions. Recruiters seek people who can keep a secret, yet pull classified information out of others; who love their country, but are willing to leave it behind to head into dangerous places; who live double lives, but can be trusted with some of the nation's most sensitive tasks. Michele Rigby Assad was one of those people. As a CIA agent, Michele soon found that working undercover was an all-encompassing job. The threats were real. The mission was a perilous one. Trained as a counterterrorism expert, Michele spent over a decade in the agency.

"I'm worried about my family's future."
"How can I stand firm in my faith in today's culture?"

Now Chaplain Black shows all of us how to thrive in the midst of today's turbulence and confusion by following eight principles that Jesus gave his disciples prior to sending them into a dangerous world. These teachings are as relevant today as when Jesus first spoke them 2,000 years ago. Containing scriptural insights and powerful prayers to help you seek God's guidance and blessing, Nothing to Fear will illuminate the way to live boldly, bravely, and faithfully in the face of today's perils.

so applicable to Everyday Life! <br />
this book was best read by Audible. Reading it might be effective but having it read to you and the way in which it was read by The Writer's perspective, most definitely the way to go!

Principles for Living
Great insights taken from Chaplain Black's personal experiences. Especially good for military members and more so for military Chaplains or those who aspire to be so.
