Series is going downhill, narration should be duet style

I’ve always liked most of Tessa Bailey’s work and I loved the first few Hot Shots books but these last few have gone downhill and are not as good. This last one is the worst of the series mostly because of the weak plot devices including the ‘marriage of convenience’ which rarely works well but especially doesn’t work when both main characters are in love with each other and the reason for the marriage is health insurance. So silly. The narrators did okay (although I did like Callie Dalton better in the previous Hotshots books) but it’s 2026- why aren’t we doing duet style for all of these types of books??? It’s so much more immersive and nothing takes you out of a spicy scene like a male narrator moaning and dirty talking in a falsetto female voice.
