The story is compelling. I’ve read this multiple times and now I get to listen while driving.

Read in a day

I have read this book for years over and over. The readers voice is great. Sucks you into the story.

Voices

Listen to the voice and imagine a world like this. I think that C. B. was brilliant and masterful in his rendition of this story. There however is much to be said about Mr. Wiggins. He is bright, dynamic, and well spoken on every level. Thank you for doing such a fine job on the performance. This is a winner!

Fantastic voice acting

I like the approach on how Ulgo’s are voiced, and how Ce’Nedra is perfectly captured in tone/inflections. Character feelings are read spot on and other than things being pronounced slightly differently than how I imagined them, I have no quarrels. I’m VERY much looking forward to Enchaters End Game

Captivating characters and excellent humor

David Eddings creates captivating characters. I'm always left wanting the next book. I've read this series multiple times and decided go get the audio books for driving. The narrator does a good job bouncing in between so many conversations characters and thoughts. I really appreciate having the same narrator through the 4 books thusfar as well.

Great series

Might see if you can get a woman to read the female parts of the book but other than that you guys do a really good job. can't wait till next one in this series.

Great story. Great writing.

I read these books in the 1980's and loved them but I was just a teenager at the time. Hearing them again, I'm shocked at how well written they are and what a grand adventure the story is.

Horrible pronunciation of names and voices

This is a world that is not ours. Giving accents that those we have are so distracting. The Australian, Indian, Irish, Jersey etc. are hard to listen too especially since it’s book four and not even close to the previous books.

The names of people, places, and race pronunciation is so distracting that sometimes I have to think about what on earth was even said and how it correlates to anything in the book. After an hour and a half in I’m not sure I can finish the book.

These books are some of the best written. The story pulls you in each time you read them. I’ve read the series at least a dozen times. I’m so frustrated with the narration.

just say no to this version.

love the story since high school. i wish i had got all them on audio years ago. lucky the local library has the older audio
however the narration in this is boring, accents that keep changing, words that are mispronounced.
the attempts to make some of them sound like Rocky is amusing rofl., i will say his Irish accent for a couple of characters is good however

I’m so sad this book has been ruined by the new narrator. He just doesn’t get the characters right
