Swamp Team 3 Rides Again
I love this series. Fortune, Ida Bell and Gertie are once again on the case. There adventure isn't as funny as the other books. Celia's part is not very big, and Gertie doesn't blow anything up. However, the mystery is well written and the dialogue is witty and entertaining. I love this series and look forward to the next book .

Just Can't Go Wrong
When you're looking for a lite and entertaining book, a Miss Fortune adventure fills the bill perfectly. With the world in lockdown this is the the type of blissful entertainment we all need.
Sure the stories are all pretty similar but put a smile on your face and chuckle a bit at Ida Bell and Girdie bumping through the bayou.

Love the Fourtune series!
This book, like most of her books, has a good pace, never drags on. the characters are lovable and relatable. Not too much romance involved if that what you are looking for, but a love interest or 2 are there. I am looking forward to the next one!

Best Book Yet!!
Loved loved loved it!! So much action and so many hilarious misteps and mishaps! It was a roller coaster ride of monstrous proportions, and that's the best kind of ride! I always miss Big & Little when they're not in the mix, but there were enough other crazy happenings that I hardly thought to miss our favorite mobsters!

Great balance of laughing and sheer fun
As usual a great overall story with an interesting twist and just the right amount of 'Gerty-isms' to be laugh out loud funny. Appreciated the fact there was only 1 Celia sighting in the book. I have like the overall series and even though I haven't listened to all of the books in a row, you don't miss too much by junping around a bit. These are great for long road trips, workouts or for winding down. Definitely a fan.

Great, as always, except one thing...
For the author. The school of always use 'said' is wrong. It's distracting. It's painful. It's truly cringe-worthy. There are so many other possibilities. Asked, responded, tittered, replied, muttered, exclaimed, explained, yelled, screamed, deadpanned.....please oh please....give up on the word 'said'.
Other than that, another excellent book and I am looking forward to the next one in the series (though not to a thousand repeats of 'said')! Great choice of VO.
For the VO, well performed. I enjoy listening every time.
