Publisher's Summary

What happens when you accidentally bring one of the world's most powerful blood-mages back from the dead?

Orson Reid and his friends are about to find out.

But first they'll need to deal with the Paragon Society's ever-growing web of lies, an ancient shape-shifter blood sport, and a very unexpected display of magic ability - but not necessarily in that order.

Whoever said being the good guys was easy, was dead wrong.

And to complicate things even further, it seems that somebody is getting really close to fusing cutting-edge technology with magic.

All hell is about to break loose. Can Orson and the gang survive the coming storm?

was not expecting the twist ending.

10 out of 10 rating, the ending definitely threw me off guard though, but definitely in a good way. I always expect the unexpected in a story, but this even kind of surprised me which is definitely awesome.

Cabal A Paragon Society Novel, Book 4 By: David Delaney Narrated by: Matt Godfrey Series: Paragon Society Series, Book 4 This has so much excitement in it. More challenging sitiuations, power development, two new characters are introduced, and they find new advanced technology! Fantastic world building and well developed characters. Read in order!! You might not understand what they refer to otherwise. Can't wait for the next book! Great narration!

Yet another great book!

I've really enjoyed each book in the series and this one definitely did not disappoint. I really enjoy all the characters and they are performed well by Mr. Godfrey. My only frustration now is waiting for the next one.

Vast improvement, story just got wicked

Coming from a not so satisfying 3rd book, this book did wonders for the story, it starts a wee bit on the slow side, but at about 4 hours left it picks up dramatically. The performance by Matt was like always amazingly done, 100% entertaining. The story of this book SPOILERS SOMEWHAT BELOW. Main character and friends spend the first couple hours of the book getting back into the groove of the adventure, they set out on their hunt for the bad guy that has resurfaced and track down one of my new favorite characters, an old friend of Lucy’s, Morgan, Important building blow up, people from Lucy’s past resurface, surprise relationships are reveled, and Wyatt gets stoned and has a drink of tequila. Nonstop action once it stops and then Pandora’s box opens toward the end of this book. This is a must have if you have read the last 3, although still being extremely short. This story kept me on the edge of my seat for the last 4 hours. The only thing I’d have to say I dislike about this book is the fact it’s really really short.

This book pissed me off.

this book pissed me off. to start, I am native american. in the book they talk about how the pilgrims were at war with mother england due to shifter politics. this would be a cool historical fantasy except the natives of america are not mentioned at all. they just kind of gloss over the fact that the english massacred my people. the tell it like it was white on white hate crimes. it just really bothered me.
