Publisher's Summary

Sometimes magic doesn’t get the point across. Sometimes the point of a blade is required.

After unleashing the power of the neutralizer, Tristan finds himself without the ability to cast magic. Assured this is a temporary condition, Tristan and Simon decide it’s the perfect opportunity to take some much needed time off.

That is until a group of dark mages enters the city looking for Master Yat. Now the Montague & Strong Detective Agency must face and eliminate the threat. There’s only one problem. William Montague, Tristan’s lost brother, is leading the mages.

Without magic, Tristan must face mages intent on killing his friend and teacher, find a way to restore his powers, and stop his brother from bringing a greater darkness to the city, dooming them all.

Sometimes the best answer isn’t a spell. Some situations can only be resolved with bullets and blades.

Join Montague & Strong in a thrilling adventure as they face off against dark mages, undead creatures, and a brother intent on a fatal family reunion!

Another fun story!

I tend to really enjoy most of Orlando Sanchez's books. They're fun and light. The main character, even though a little annoying in that he can't stop himself from making inappropriate comments, is a lot of fun in that he's not all dark and depressing, which I see is a trend in stories. I also love the fact that Orlando Sanchez always has strong female characters.

The audio version is a perfect accompaniment when I go on walks. I can't wait for the next audiobook to come out. In the interim, I'll read the side stories on Kindle.

Audible just makes it better.

Kevin T Collins is an awesome narrator bringing my favorite characters to life.

The Montague and Strong detective agency novels are favorite rereads of mine. Being able to listen means I get my M&S fix while being able to craft and do those other tasks that need to be done.

Enjoy. I know I have and will do so again as I settle in for another listen.

Next please.

Engaging Entertainment

These books leap from strength to strength and keep the reader entertained with the wit and "wisdom" pf the author. I look forward to each book and look forward to listening/reading them over and over such is the ability to read/listen to them. An excellent series. Highly recommended.
