Beautifully Dynamic!

Broken Heart is a beautifully dynamic love story with all the feels! Cooper Westwood is an alpha-protector powerhouse with a heart of gold. Grumpy in staff meetings and happy when he is with his family or building and creating, Cooper is an epic book boyfriend with a solid moral compass. Skye is delicate and strong, intelligent and sassy, funny and brave, lovely and lonely. I really connected with these two, from their histories to their personalities to how they interact with others around them: I just love how the author has crafted their characters and their story. From their first meeting to the last moment in the book, their journey is so much fun to follow: gorgeous connection, heartbreaking and sweet backstory, touching plot twists, and so much more. The narrators do an awesome job of bringing this world to audio life, adding an additional dimension to these characters’ personalities and their world. This is my favorite book in the series so far, and I can’t wait to see where we go next!

Teddy Hamilton and Ava Erickson, two of my favorite narrators come together to do Cooper and Skye’s story! Such wonderful voices bring these characters and their story to life!

Cooper is the head of the maintenance for the Westwood companies and takes his job and any job completely serious!
Skye has decided that she will just go back to being alone especially after her ex cheated on her.
Cooper and Skye hit it off from the beginning and soon sparks begin to fly but can Skye open her heart up one more time and trust in someone other than herself.

AK Evans’ never disappoints with her books and we knew Cooper would have a great story so I am not going to say I can’t believe it because I knew if anyone could give us this side of Cooper, Andrea would!!!

Skye and Coopers story was terrific

Skye and Coopers story was terrific. Ever since the prequel, I've been anticipating everyone in the Westwood's family's HEA story, and getting to know each child. Their meet was unique, and even though Skye was hesitant to succumb to his charms for obvious reasons given her history, Cooper was patient and persistent (well maybe he didn't have to be too persistent because she gave in quick time wise but ya know, that's how romance books work). Cooper is the grumpy child, but his personality with Skye is adorable. Cannot wait for the next one! I love Teddy Hamilton as a narrator, and teamed with Ava Erickson to bring this to life amazingly.

Cooper is boyfriend goals!

These Westwood men have stolen my heart! Cooper is EVERYTHING! From the moment an unexpected accident brings Cooper and Skye face to face, Cooper goes above and beyond for Skye. Skye is such a precious, kind soul with so much loss and hurt in her life. A man like Cooper is exactly what she needs and deserves. Someone who is going to jump through every obstacle to show how special, worthy, and loved she is. Skye was very honest about her situation and Cooper never let that deter him from showing her she was worthy of so much more.

Just as she has many times before, Evans has such a gift at weaving together strong family dynamics in her books. This family is one of my favorites she's ever written. They are welcome, loving, accepting, and everything you'd hope for in a in-law family situation. The way they love their children and their partners is something that you just don't see often these days so it's refreshing to read and dream. Even the siblings/spouses all have such an amazing bond. After being so betrayed, Skye desperately needed the arms wide open welcome she received from Coopers family.

I could go on and on about this book and it would never be enough to describe the depths of my love for it. When Evans started this series, I was so scared I'd have a hard time loving a new family the way I have the others, because just how much better can she make them, right?! I was SO wrong. She just keeps giving us better and better every time.

I listened to this on Audible and as always, the narrators truly gave life to this story. Their voices and abilities to show every emotion was fantastic. Of all the audible books I've listened to, somehow Evans books always get the best of the best where narrators are concerned. Teddy and Ava are some of my favorites.

Beautiful story!

Someone cute throw a rock in my window or something! Skye and Cooper met in the most unique and accidental way. These Westwoods are something else that sometimes I forget they're fiction. Cooper could have just fixed the broken door and moved right along, but there was something about Skye that captivated him. She's reeling from losing both her best friend and her boyfriend to each other. No boyfriend and no family, Skye is alone in this world. Getting to know Cooper and the Westwood clan is a little overwhelming, but Skye fits right in. He's careful and respectful and shows Skye exactly how she should be treated. Ava Erickson and Teddy Hamilton brought their A game to this story as narrators. I was hooked into the story by their voices.
