Publisher's summary

They say the line that separates love from hate is thin. So thin, in fact, that the two almost coexist. Almost.

It's also been said that when a dude is a jerk to a girl, it's because, deep down, he wants her. I'm calling bullshit on all of it.

Tate Tracy is about to find out that I'm not the nice boy anymore. Nor am I a forgiving person. She might have been my best friend for eighteen years, but now, she's no one. And if I have to remind her of that, I will. Even if we're going to be stuck living in an apartment… together.

The trouble is, I've only ever had one weakness in life. And it's Tate Tracy.

Love.

I absolutely loved this book! The readers did an incredible job. I could feel the emotion like everything being said was truly happening in that moment. I’m in love with this series. Absolute must read.

Another great one in this series

Friends to enemies to lovers is not my favorite trope but Hannah Gray does a good job with it in this book. In this book we meet Tate and Link. They were friends as kids and then Tate ran off without saying goodbye. Now in college Tate and Link have become roommates (not by choice). Now enemies, they try and resist the pull and connection they have always had. I love the Brooks Hockey Team boys and can’t wait to continue this series. I did a mix of audio and ebook. Great narration for audiobook. I highly recommend the audio!

A passionate performance for this enemies romance!

Childhood friends and hockey, say no more!! I already love this combination of tropes but what intrigued me even more was that this story had a twist to it as they became enemies when their friendship ended. Now they are living as roommates and have to face the past. Their journey to love wasn’t easy and had a lot of layers but once again it was another enjoyable book in this series out of Brooks University!!

Hockey Romance
Enemies To Lovers
Forced Proximity
Roommates
Childhood Friends
Second Chance

As soon as the prologue started, my heart BROKE for Link!! This man has been put through the wringer in life and is truly a broken boy inside. From there this story takes you on quite a rollercoaster between Link and his childhood BFF Tate. There are a lot bumps during their slow burn romance but also many protective and sweet moments as well. I will say that a few times, Link got a little too over the top for me to the point of being really mean when he was projecting his hurt. He struggled with dealing with the past but overall, he truly did just want to be loved by someone without anything holding them back.

Overall, I enjoyed this book and watching Link and Tate find their way back to each other! However, for now, Cam still remains my number 1 guy on this team!

AUDIO REVIEW:
WOW! I already loved Heather Firth and Thomas Oakley in Puck Boy but they completely elevated their performance in Broken Boy!!! The passion and emotion that Thomas put into his voice to portray the anger in Link was outstanding!!! You could just feel the brokenness of Link in his tone and it made me FEEL all the things for him. Thomas even yells at one point when Link is yelling, and WOW…it was such a powerful moment and truly felt like I was watching it all play out! Overall, these 2 continue to impress me with their performances for this series and I cannot recommend these audios enough!!!

Best friends - to lovers - to enemies -to lovers again

The narrators are soooo talented. Dang it Hannah Gray for all the angsty parts and making me cry like a baby at times. The misunderstandings and drama felt so real thanks to the narrators who really brought Tate and Link to life.

A Little Rough

I’m all for enemies to lovers but this guy was a little bit too much for me.
