OBSESSED

I was a little worried going in just because how on earth do you even attempt to follow up on Quicksilver, but by gods I loved it so much 🥹 Saeris has grown to be such a freaking baddie and my boy Fisher is as possessive and swoonworthy as ever. Throw in Carrion's ability to make me laugh, our adorable fox buddy, Onyx, and the epic adventure and twisty reveals and I was done for. I'm so obsessed with this world.

Callie absolutely played with our emotions in this one. I almost cried for a whole host of reasons and yet I was continously laughing because the audacity and wit of some of these characters is just amazing and so much fun. I'm so excited for what's next. That cliff had me giddy as heck.

The audio was fantastic. Stella Bloom does so well at the strong fantasy FMCs and Anthony Palmini was wonderful as well. This is in DUET narration too which is always a plus. I loved this listen.

I loved this book so much. It had heart and danger and loss and love. It takes you on a rollercoaster and then leaves us with a gasping revelation. I loved every minute of it!

I went and reread quicksilver plus all the bonus chapters and I’m glad I did! (Second time around even better)

now.. Brimstone had a lot going on. Dual POV which i absolutely loved! You see a little more into Kingfisher (I also want to add for audio purposes.. Anthony IS Kingfisher 😮‍💨) the voice on him is e v e r y t h i n g!

The plot is massive, we’re really building, searching for redemption, strength in love, rise, sorts of acceptance, leadership. The magic!

Saeris, let’s give a bow! There were some moments she might have had me wanting to shake her BUT damn she is a gal. She is tested through and through in any and all ways possible. She grew SO much in here.

My man, you know who.. Kingfisher. He remains a ma who can do no wrong. The words that come out of him have me melting. YES SIR.

Let’s not forget our pal Carrion, he remained our goofy guy and I did enjoy seeing him and kingfishers chats. I think there are things to come for Carrion and he will surprise us.

Archer is my favorite, I just absolutely adore him.
