The cry for Wes Malcolm's death has followed him from Earth all the way to Avalon, and an entire new breed of Hordebeast has taken up the call. Howling wolf-men now hunt him as an escaped convict, a false teacher, and a traitor to a legacy he had rejected immediately. Worse yet, he must fight not only for his own freedom, but for the prisoners he rescued from the dungeon on this ruined world.
Now he needs to evade the monsters long enough to get the former hostages to safety, then grow strong enough to battle his hunters and win. Loving this story!
There is plenty of adventure, action, and even a slow burn romance brewing. I’m enjoying every second of this story and can’t wait to read and listen to the next in this series.

good for the most part
the narration is fantastic but the mental breakdowns every 30 minutes got old very quick. middle of a large battle, mental breakdown. having a chat with his companions, mental breakdown. everything else about this story has been absolutely amazing but I can't help but mash the skip button when he has a breakdown in the middle of a scene

Impressive flexibility
This story needs a wide variety of different voices, for reasons that will be obvious should you choose to listen to it. I was impressed by the ability of the two narrators to meet that demand.
The story remains as wonderful as always, and I enjoy the pacing. Many times, stories that are differently paced that what I'm used to frustrate me- I'm expecting an ending, or a climax, or a conflict, and it doesn't happen and leaves me hanging. Not this time. This author has met the challenge of a providing a different pacing while still satisfying me as a reader, and I love it!

Great series
This is a great series. I would like to get the third book. What is the app where the third story can be found? Perhaps someone can answer in a follow up review. The narrator’s, really really great. I think The woman may be the best narrator I’ve heard. This is a great team up though.

Enjoyable Narration
Read the story and loved the performance from Christopher and Jessica. Their performance had me feeling more for the characters and their highest and lowest moments. Hope they continue to narrate the rest of this series.
