Good listen

First time listening to this author and I’ll have to say it was pretty good.

not really a 'stand alone' book.

listen through 14 chapters before giving up. there is too much that doesn't make sense on its own.

Bound to Darkness

Hmmm this book series had great potential but it was ruined by the awful female narration no offense to Ms. Kelly just stating a fact. If you don't have a great listening experience why bother any further with a review. Is it worth a credit? NO, thankfully this book was free!

Slow burn

I loved the story. It was a bit of a slow burn. I did have a really hard time finishing the audio though. I did not like the narration from the female perspective. The male was on point. But the female was really hard to listen to. She sounded young, childish, and so bored all at the same time. I had to force myself to continue listening because I really did enjoy the story itself. I needed to know when/how/if Kai got his vengeance against that awful council woman.

Mafia Romance

The story of a victim turned villain. Got to love the heroine saving the story

Female narrator is horrific!

Her voice is beyond irritating, she’s either sucking on a lozenge, chewing gum, or playing an exaggerated version of a phone sex operator. I stopped listening to the audible version.

trigger warning.

Kai & Rose: triggers- sexual assault & PTSD. Third book and we finally find out what happened to Kai during his capture and Rose, Valentina's, whom we all thought was dead. This book is really slow but really good. It picks up right where the previous book ends. Most of the book is the two of them trying to co-exist and survive while running from the "council bitch". But of course, you can't live in close quarters for that long for feelings to not set a flame. With these two, it's a full on BLAZE!!! 🔥🔥🔥 I love these two together and I enjoyed that their story didn't drag over two books. Really good.

good book

the book is awesome with the male narrator the female narrator doesn't know how to read. she's too whiny and draws everything out. these books would be a 5 star if it wasn't for her. I hope the author takes heed and gets a better female next time. I would definitely read more books from this author if she never does her again.

an improvement

this was the best of the series so far, even though I knew it was safe to assume it would end in another cliff hanger.

Intriguing

LOVED the male narrators voice. The females voice didn’t really fit the character, although in the scene where she killed the council woman it got better. The story line was great. And Kai…..damn loved his character.
