Pretty good start

This series is about magic with a twist. Out main character Elliot discovers that she has unpredictable magic and must go to a special school to learn to control it. While at the school she learns her one night stand is also one of her professors so that complicates things. She doesn't get along with the girls going to that school so she ends up living with the boys- which again complicates things. An incident happens which puts the schools future and the lives of the students at risk and Elliot and her friends are determined to solve it. Pretty good story. A little light and a pretty quick listen too but good overall. The narrator does a very good job with the characters. #Audio Obsession Reviewer

Loved it!

I loved this book.
RH aren’t usually my go-to stories, but I really liked this.
I liked how Elliot was a badass and didn’t stand for the attitudes of the ‘mean girl’ bully types.
I also loved the chemistry clearly shown between her and the guys.
Onto the next book.

Strong Female Lead

Spark was such a pleasant experience! Elliot’s a fun, very real character. She doesn’t give a crap about what anyone thinks and I love it. She’s a strong female lead. The plot was interesting, and not the villain was a surprise IMO. There’s story left to build on for further books. I really enjoyed Elliot’s relationship with Roman and am intrigued to see how things turn out with the others. The personalities of the men were all unique and nothing felt forced. I’m super excited for the next book! The performance of the narrator was good to me, nothing really stuck out as annoying which is always a relief! #audiobookobsessionreviewer

Wow!

This was my first story from this author and it did not disappoint! The characters and story were both well developed. Elliott is a great lead and the guys were a great edition to the story. I am looking forward to getting the next book on audio, the narration was fantastic.

Decent debut - Builds foundation for series

Some weaknesses in the story and the characters, plus repetition mentioned in a few other reviews but the series does get increasingly better. I do think the narrator makes the character sound more whiney that the writing/action dictates.

If you like reverse harem, paranormal/magic, academy romances, it's defnitely worth it to stick through this book's growing pains. The writing, plot and characters get tighter as the series continues. I've read this series once and am now listening to it.

Adult Academy romance

This was a great start to a magic academy series with characters all over 18. I loved the teacher/student relationship an the live/hate relationship between the heroine and two of her leading men the most. I look forward to listening to the rest of this series! #audiobookobsession

Good start to a series

Good start to a series. The characters are well written and their interactions are great. The storyline flows well and keeps you interested until the end.

Perfect start to a new series!

Perfect start to a new series! It gives information, lets us get to know a little about the characters, meet those hunky sexy men, learn about the magic and the school.
I enjoyed listening to this. The writing is smooth and it easy to follow along with. The characters are complex. I love all their different personalities. We had some man girl issues, drama and of course that sexy suspense. I look forward to the next in the series.
I listened to this on audio. Sarah Puckett is the narrator. She does a great job and is easy to listen to.

Great story

The story was so good I had to read books 2 and 3. I cant wait for the kindle version of book 4 to drop July 18th. Definitely a new fan and will check of this Authors other series books. The Narration was done well. Check all the books of this series out, well worth it!

Great read!

This book was amazing!!! I fell in love with all the characters and the story line was great! It’s a great start to a series and I’m excited to hear the rest of the story! I loved all the boys but especially fell in love with Dimitri he acts like he doesn’t care it’s pretty sexy. There is romance lots of drama and lots of twists and turns you never saw coming! I highly recommend this book if you love RH books with lots of romance and tons of chemistry with four hot guys with some school drama! The only down side to this to me is the narration at first I was really annoyed at how bored and uninterested the narrator sounded. She paused where there shouldn’t be pauses and talked slowly I had to speed it up because her talking so slow was messing up the book for me. But after I spread it up a bit she sounded normal and I could finish the book and I’m so happy I did. The narrator also sounds really whinny but I just got use to it. But other then that loved the book!
