Good

Liked the 2nd book in this series. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was when someone would whisper sometimes it would be so low I couldn’t hear so having to rewind and turn the volume up then the next voice would be to loud, frustrating. Otherwise I really liked it!

Alexis is relatable and the Husbands 🥵

The first was better… BUT here’s the things I loved, my opinion on who to choose was drastically changed and I didn’t think that would be possible. I continued to enjoy Alexis’s inner monologue (laughing a lot) and Nyx of course. Love that Fluffy Jr hangs in there. Loved the whole animal protector parts. The narrators for Augustus and Kharon did well, but Alexis’s narrator was phenomenal and Medusa’s. Patti’s drove me absolutely nuts, the delivery is weird and it feels like he’s moving towards and away from the mic as he speaks. I don’t think I could do a whole series with him as one of the main narrators so that kind of puts a damper on the series. Hopefully the narrator just speaks normally next time.

Now for some of the disappointing stuff and stuff I loved with spoilers. It felt rushed and lacked the finesse I usually find in Jasmine’s books. The twist and revelation being at the end felt almost cheap, I don’t enjoy the biggest reveals to be simply from not knowing it even happened. Feels like there should’ve been more of her growing relationship with her parents and her brother. As well as her friendship with Helen and Drex. Feels like you get more Drex out of all of them. It feels like a lot of missed opportunities for growth from them and Alexis. Alexis is great but it really felt like she wasn’t connecting any dots unless she had to and then she had we just didn’t know about it?? It was just odd. I would’ve also liked to learn more about Patro and Achilles, less lust forward seen Alexis give that a bigger chance. Ultimately the husbands are just 👌 by the end. Thank you Jasmine for a fantastic experience 🩵

Incredible ride

I absolutely love this series. I’ve been waiting for this book to come out for so long and it did not disappoint. The story telling and the humor is top notch.

Great book but

So, I tried listening to this book on Audible, but I couldn’t finish it. The narrator’s voice was all over the place, from high-pitched to low-pitched, and even whispering (I was unable to hear exactly what was said.) I ended up reading the physical book instead because I couldn’t get past the narrator’s inconsistent tone. But overall, I really enjoyed the book!

Feral for Kharon

LOVE the narrators in this series. Teddy Hamilton can do no wrong and whoever voices Alexis is awesome!! Can't wait for the next one.
