Well differentiated story

Good positioning and quite literal in it's explanations. Blue ocean strategy well explained in simplistic terms.

Good examples

Some say on the review that the book is repetitive and at times it may feel that way but it by no means feel overly excessive. They are all worth it when you think about all the red and blue ocean business examples you are learning about.

Great concepts

Concepts are amazing, the narrator for the audible not so much. All in all it is worth a read as the information is well worth the time!

Interesting but somewhat hard to put to action

What did you love best about Blue Ocean Strategy?

Very interesting theories introduced. I work on a product that I would define as a Blue Ocean, so it was enlightening to hear the research supporting this strategy.

What didn’t you like about Grover Gardner’s performance?

Reading was straightforward and clear, but a bit dry.

I found it hard to put these theories into action. Maybe the product I work on isn't the most applicable.

One of the greatest books I have ever come across

I started listening to the narration shortly after take off from Dubai enroute Abuja. It was very interesting to the extent that I did not think of the onboard entertainment provided by the airline. I recommend this book to everyone that would like to make an impact in today's highly competitive world.
