Good Idea Bad Execution

really is a 2 star all around. the writing was off putting. the character's were stand in's, for how much personality they. the characters that do have a personality is the MC and a monkey alien. the monkey is likable and well written, the MC on the other hand is not. the MC just lost everyone he loved and the earth... the MC is not believable or even likable.
the idea of the book really is a good one. I would really like to see this rewritten with more attention to psychology and human interaction
