Publisher's summary

Sabrina awoke on her eighteenth birthday with the realization that the nightmares that have plagued her dreams were memories from multiple past lives.

She realized in this moment two things to be true:

First, is that she has lived and died more times than she could count. All before she turned 19.

Second, is that the same man has killed her each time: The Crown Prince of the Vampires, Darius Dragomeir. He is the most deadly vampire to ever exist. His thirst for blood is driven by the same curse that has them locked in a game of cat and mouse.

Will Sabrina and some unlikely friends she meets along the way be able to break this curse and uncover secrets that had been long forgotten? Or will she be doomed to spend a million more lifetimes as a vampire's most prized prey?

Bring on #2

This was my first book by Willow and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The blurb caught my attention but the story itself kept me listening all the way through. So good. Looking forward to more books by Willow.

Good story and look forward to the next

Overall, I really enjoyed this story. The premise and characters were interesting. It felt somewhat rushed in spots and a little disjointed but I did really enjoy it. The narrator was very good and definitely made me feel the youth of the MFC. I do look forward to the next book on audio.

Vampires, fae, magic, and royalty for NA readers

There was a lot to like about this book. Interesting storyline with lots of good elements. I liked most of the secondary characters and felt they were well-developed for those roles. However, I did not feel that way about Sabrina and Darius. Maybe I somehow missed the connection early in the book, but their first smexy time felt way too rushed for their first time. I liked his possessive side but wish the character could have been more developed. She was incredibly wishy-washy, not really ever able to stand firm in her feelings. She seemed very young and I think the narrator did a great job of capturing that essence in her narration.

Don't get me wrong. If you're looking for an entertaining NA (New Adult) novel featuring vampires, fae, magic, and royalty with a unique plot AND doesn't end on a cliffhanger despite being book 1 of a trilogy (major bonus points for that!), give this book a read. Don't expect it to be an adult fantasy novel with older adult characters and thought processes. Enjoy it for what it is.

Unique But a Bit Disjointed

I found Blood Singer to be unique and creative but also a bit disconnected to the point where it really did not hold my attention for long. The story started out great, and I really liked it, but then it started to be silly, then it went dark only to become silly again. Darius may be a vampire prince, but in my opinion, he needs medication for some type of mental disorder. The story just flip flops to much for me. One minute, she hates him, and the next, she loves him. I just couldn't get into the story. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own volition.

Excellant!

Wonderfully narrated! I've been in love with this book since I read it last year, and the narrator brought it to life beautifully!

I loved this spin on vampires

This was such a fun and spicy read. I listened to the audio and 1000000% recommend doing so to anyone planning to start this series. This was a fun spin on normal vampire stories. I can’t wait to read the next one 😍🫶🏼
