Publisher's summary

The Black Swan Planet crew gets back together for one final mission, with imperial proportions. Raka once again learns that a lot has changed in his absence. When Maven Blackheart quickly drags him into an international nuclear incident with China that nearly sparks World War III, they are forced to escape back to the Empire.

But things go sideways for the crew and Raka finds himself involved in a plot to assassinate Emperor Caligula himself.

Satisfying ending to the trilogy!

I enjoyed this book from beginning to end! The pop culture references were entertaining throughout, and the characters were relatable in many levels. The ending was not exactly what I expected, but it left me with a good feeling and a sense of hope for the future of the Empire. Can’t wait to read more from this author!!
