Other pages were thin and desiccated, positively yellow from age, and crackled alarmingly as Van Richten turned them over. There were no ornate illuminations, no fussy borders, only lines of plain text in hard black ink. The flowing handwriting was a bit difficult to follow at first; the writer's style of calligraphy had not been in common use for 300 years. No table of contents, but from the dates it looked to be some kind of history.

The story is wrapped up very well, or the night angel trilogy at least, but it seems that Weeks is setting up for follow on novels which will be very exciting.

Splendid!
I’ve been listening to each remake with Simon Vance and it’s been a truly exceptional experience. I’m so excited for the release of the sequel later this year! Thank you for spacing out the Vance recordings as the anticipation has been part of the journey as I revisit these fantastic characters after relistening to the Black Prism series.

Sound ending
I enjoy the ending and how everything and everyone found a place beyond the shadows even though death and after betrayal. Everything just fits so eloquently after a painful and trying adventure. Truly a masterpiece like Richard Adams' "Maia" epic novel.

How 1 favored character turned into so many towards The end
Loved all three. About to start the 4th with very high hopes. Blint was a true bad ass character. I still want to know what’s with Logan’s mark?

Really tremendous storytelling
Fantastic story of bravery, sacrifice, love, and determination. All the characters had a place and created a magnificent end to this trilogy. I look forward to the continuation.

Another Good One
I recommend listening to these books in order as they are a continuation story. Despite being long, I am hooked so on to the third book. The narrator does a great job.

Excellent 3rd Act
Finished this on the day the new Night Angel book was released. Obviously will be diving right into that. This was a great conclusion to the trilogy, and it’s hard to have any complaints with Vance narrating.
