Total Lost Fleet vibes
I wasn’t entirely digging the first book in this series, but I’m glad I picked up the second. There’s a lot more action and the plot is moving along nicely with numerous small and medium sized surprises along the way. The space battles are a lot better in this second book and reminded me of the awesome Lost Fleet series with every battle description while still maintaining a litRPG feel. The narration also continues to be great.

Wonderful
I enjoyed this book immensely, I can say that I'll be finishing this series post haste. My one complaint is the princes favorite Astra. Her character is so thin it's 1-d and super annoying. Otherwise, I highly recommend this book and the series as a whole.

yes, oh god yes. this book is a page turner. normally I just spend my monthly credits, but this series made me drop cash on this I needed to know what happen then and there.
