Kind of a Cinderella based short story

This was a short story, romance that felt a bit like a modern Cinderella (without the evil stepfamily!) Jodee is a black jack dealer and Abel and her meet when he sits at her table. Instant love ensues and realizing that Jodee has other aspirations, Abel helps her achieve her dreams.

Another fun short story- this is part 3 of a series but is totally standalone. It was a fun listen, especially because Randi Johnson does such an amazing job with the different voices, clearly differentiating between male and female characters and infusing a good amount of emotion into his voice. A great narration to listen to.

Another Gem from the Adele and Randi Team!

I loved this short! I adored the other two Slippery Curves novellas, and this one is just as good. I love how you can just listen to them in a short amount of time and be satisfied with the story. Adele has a great ability to tell a complete story in such a short amount of time. Randi is such an amazing narrator and his smooth raspy voice is just exquisite. Can't wait for more!

I am seriously enjoying the slippery curves series of books Randi Johnson is a treat to listen to and the books capture the imagination and are so real to life, it makes them even better because it might just happen to you!

Left wanting more but still enjoyable

Short, sweet and to the point this book had very likable characters and the lust factor was off the charts. But, this one could have dug a little deeper into the storyline. Jodee and Abel found their attraction across the Black Jack table and went all in for an adorable story.

I think this storyline would have been better in a longer book. But is was an okay story.
I love Randi’s narration but this wasn’t of my favorites.

Cute short story!

I enjoyed this short story. Wasn't much to it but it was cute! Worth a listen for a smile!

Excellent Audible book!

I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. Adele Niles has written a very short novella that tells a complete and touching story. I fell in love with the characters. Jodie is a strong woman who is working hard to accomplish a career goal. Abel is an older man who has set his goal to win Jodie. This is a heartwarming tale. Randi Johnson does an outstanding job of portraying the emotions of these characters. His intonations will make you feel like you are in the story. His deep sexy voice will give you quite a thrill. I highly recommend this Audible book. I just wish it was longer, because I hated for it to end.

Love Starts at the Blackjack Table

These short insta-love stories by Adele Niles might become an addiction. A fast-paced, great characters and a good story, Bet Your Mine is set in Vegas and all bets are off. Abel meets Jodee at the blackjack tables and the attraction is immediate. Jodee has been in Vegas saving for her dream, opening a bakery back home in California. Able is in a position to help her out. This story like the others is a short one, and leaves the reader wanting more of the couple.
Narrator Randi Johnson does an excellent job voice both sexes in this book. His deep voice makes Abel a sexy alpha. I enjoy the timbre of his voice and the vocal range he attains voicing females. I will definitely be looking for more books by this author and narrator.
