Great Story!

I really enjoyed the originality of this book! It was very well written. The narrator also did a fantastic job.

Loved it!

I loved listening. It was so hard to press pause. I enjoyed the characters and the story. I will be listening to the next one soon.

Great Story Telling

This book was more of a telling of a story rather than becoming the story. It was a great listen and I throughly enjoyed it! On to the next book to see what may come next!

Interesting story and world.

I enjoyed this story, the world was vivid and the story was intriguing and I'd like to dive more into it. I love stories about the Fae and the lore of this book was different than I'd read before. I'd love to learn more about the world and its magic. We only get to see a tiny bit of the magic displayed in this book but it left me wanting more. I do wish the characters were more fleshed out with less flat affects, but it could be from experiencing the story via audiobook. They felt oddly detached and one dimensional to me, but still likeable. Like Mer, some of her reactions were to not react and I wished she would. The narrator was very good and clear with a pleasant tone but the whispering did get tiresome after a while.

Overall an interesting start to a new fantasy series. I will go on to listen to book 2. I received a copy of the audiobook for an unbiased review from the author.

Good read!

This was a really entertaining novel. I loved the world building and character development. W.K. Greyling does a great job keeping the flow of the book moving and interesting. There’s action, drama and a bit of romances. I don’t normally read/listen to fae novels but this one was entertaining. It’s a YA fantasy novel with a good story line. The narrator did a good job, but I think I had some audio issues. Sometimes it would get staticky but it didn’t take too much away from the narration.

It was a great book, I am looking forward to listening to the next one! The story is well thought through and I found no story or character paradoxes, which always helps keep you in the story

Good Story and Start of a Series

Interesting and enjoyable story, good characters though the main character is stubborn and bulkheaded. Story lines well developed and Narrator was Very good, though I disliked the whispering voices. That is just me, bad hearing.

Pretty good book

This is a good book and a new perspective on the Fae. It leaves you wanting more, so it's a good thing there is a second book. lol.

Great story

I thought this was a great YA book with an interesting twist on the Fae world! I'm definitely going to read the 2nd book!
