Insightful

At 78 years of age, I am taking stock of my life, and this book was quite helpful in that regard. I spent many years wearing a uniform and have always been grateful for the sense of purpose that allowed me.

Thank you for helping me remember the jobs of street cop and Deputy Sheriff/K-9 Officer (the best job I ever had), Marine. Also want to let you know that I had the honor of shaking Chesty Puller's hand (he was at our wedding in 1969).

Be safe and well, Staff Sergeant, and - as I used to yell at my fellow K-9 handlers who were Marines - Semper Fly! (I was Air Force)

What a great look at the behind scenes of what our first responders have to deal with I’m thankful that we have men and women who are willing to step forward to protect us. Thank you for the good book. It was a great read.

As a past officer it was very relatable. Presentation was well done and professional in nature

what volunteers are facing.

Good Information

the book was interesting hearing all the stories. I did not care for Joey after each story giving his take. A lot of times he would repeat when they had already said

PTSD

I was a Army MP. Deputy Sheriff. EMT. Fire Rescue TSA. FEMA (Sandy) this book helped me let go of my PTSD.
