His explanation of power, positive and negative

I loved that he went back and explained about the founding fathers and their ideas. I also liked that he detailed about Socialism and Communision and what we are seeing today. I love it when the authors do their own narrations!

It wasn't too long, easily understood the material. Mark brought themes from previous books together in this book and tied them together perfectly.

In this latest book, Mark Levin delves in to the various types of power in a way that is understandable and logical. it should be required reading for every high school government student.

Mark once again does a masterful job of researching and delivering hard truths about the subject matter and relates it to our countries founding and serves as warning to the erosion of Liberty even in our great country.

The Bible is the true source of power

I know Mark is sympathetic towards Christianity. I wish he was more detailed about the source of positive power such as in Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” He ought to have contrasted that against the need for the negative power of
the law as in these previous verses: Galatians 5:19-21 (NIV) “The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
