Publisher's Summary

I wasn't looking to fall for one man. Let alone two...

Sullivan and Will are as close as two friends can be. Growing up in the system forced them to rely on each other, and they've become accustomed to sharing everything - including women.

Now they're ready for more. To find love. To start a family. To see the dreams they've shared since childhood come true.

Apparently I tick off every box on their list - brains, beauty, and sass. I never hesitate to put both men in their places - which they find sexy as hell.

One problem, I'm a traditional girl, with traditional values - one man, one woman, till death do us part - kind of values.

They're willing to work to prove how very right the three of us could be, but what happens next is anyone's guess....

A great book, with superb narration.

I have to say that when I first heard about this book I was over the moon excited. I love that this book was more about the relationship between the three characters and less about the sex, although, there is plenty of that too. It’s been described as MMF, however, personally I’d describe it as MFM with some MM scenes, as to my knowledge, and I’d remember if it had happened, there were no scenes that included MM with the female present and I would’ve loved that to be included to see how their dynamic changed in the bedroom. This isn’t a complaint merely an observation. Ok, honestly, I wanted some MMF in my life – I think Lola Leighton would do a marvelous job with it, she knows how to balance sexy and emotions. Chapter 27 is on FIRE, I’m sure some of it was used in a FB bedtime read post at one point…or, maybe I just wish it was. It definitely felt familiar…maybe I imagined them to life? Either way, it was the sexiest scene.

The dynamic of this relationship is really what this book is about and I love that it focuses on that. Although this book is super sexy, the sex scenes don’t drown out the story. It is emotional at times, humorous, and sweet. I loved the chemistry between the three of them and thought it was palpable from early on. I adored that it came across as more of a real-life relationship, rather than just fiction, you could imagine the issues they faced and how people would react and how they would deal with that.

The characters in this story are wonderful. I loved Will, Sullivan, and Adrienne (for the most part, more about that in a moment). Let’s talk about these characters. First, we have Will, who is more the strong and silent one. He’s so gentle with Adrienne that it’s the sweetest thing to observe. Add in his clear feelings for Sully and I was smitten. I wish we had more chapters from his PoV, as it felt more like Sullivan and Adrienne’s story with a few Will chapters thrown in for good measure. A lot of changes happened for him, I would have liked to spend more time in his head and seeing how he handled the transition. Then we have Sullivan, he’s more the laid-back, funny, and knows what he wants, guy. His attraction to Adrienne was instant and pairing that with his obvious attraction to Will just had me swooning. I loved that we got so much from his PoV. He’s such a sweetheart. Lastly, we have Adrienne. She’s sweet, sassy, and doesn’t take any crap. I loved her for the most part until chapter 25 – I hated the way she reacted to her family and the way she treated the men she claimed to love. I felt she needed to earn back their trust, instead of them winning her back. I even had to stop listening for a minute because I was so wound up about it, then, I loved her again, once things got sorted. I still say she should have groveled some.

I do wish the book was a little longer. I felt some parts needed to be extended, and some needed to be included. For example, when the guys are trying to win Adrienne back, they have a discussion with her family, I’d have liked for that to be included so we could see the change in her parents, know what actually won them over since they were so against it. Rather than just, we’ve spoken to them and they’re ok with it now. The only other thing was that I wasn’t always sure how much time had passed, it felt like it occasionally jumped from one scene to another rather than a smooth transition. With that being said, I really enjoyed the book and would definitely listen to it again, and listen to more from Lola.

The narrators were absolutely wonderful. The casting was great, I do feel like Jacob Morgan was more suited to the character of Will, and Jason Clarke to Sullivan, but, that’s just my thoughts. Nobody said I wasn’t a picky listener. They did a fantastic job regardless. Ava Erickson was pure perfection as Adrienne, her voice has the sweet quality that I felt was necessary for the character. Throughout the book she really killed it, she embodied the character so well. I thought chapter 27 was performed brilliantly by Jacob Morgan, he nailed the emotion, insecurity, and sexiness of the scene…and the book, really. And, Jason Clarke’s performance was captivating, even though it’s only a small portion of the book. All three of the narrators complemented each other. The production was great with no issues of note.

Just OK

Sullivan (outgoing) and Will (quiet) are best friends and include everything including women. After Adrienne (conservative family) accidentally runs into their truck, the three of them start to date. It is mostly MFM, with two MM scenes. HEA.

The narrators (especially Jacob Morgan) are perfection. However, the author should have given Will (Jason Clarke) more chapters as almost entirely Sullivan (Jacob Morgan) and Adrienne (Ava Erickson). I think it would have added to the story to hear Will's POV more. I think Will (Jason Clarke) only had two chapters. Also, Jacob Morgan has a rougher (and amazing) voice, which matches the darker personality of Will. Jason Clarke has a lighter voice, which matches the more outgoing personality of Sullivan. So I think the narrators should have switched to match their personality more.

This story was just OK, and honestly after listening to Candy Boys (another AMAZING threesome relationship), it just didn't hit the mark. In fact, it was quiet disappointing. It felt really top sheeted. And I really really wanted to like this book.

Here are the PROBLEMS I had with this book. ***SPOILERS*** (1) When they do any butt play they don't warm up to it. So it's just not realistic. (2) When Adrienne's Dad didn't accept their relationship, she left them (!!!!), and in a messed up way. Despite claiming she was in love with them. I just can't get over that. (3) One night when the guys were being distance [just for ONE dinner], she assumed they were breaking up with her. [hard eye roll] (4) The author missed opportunities throughout to get us to connect more and it was just skimmed over including the scene when her Mom come, the hospital visit, the ex-girlfriend visit, and the cabin scene. (5) They also didn't explain how the guys convinced her Dad to come around, which is hard to believe in the first place. (6) This story includes dating, living together, being pregnant, and giving birth - but was only 5 hours 55 minutes. It was all too fast without the appropriate writing to make it more believable. (7) In the epilogue, she is married to Will and Sullivan is the stay at home Dad, but she didn't explain how that decision went to marry only Will.

Unique and Lovable

I love the idea behind this story. Showing a story behind, not a necessarily a kinky ménage relationship (although there was that), but a real ménage relationship.

I do think there were some plot holes that should have been plugged up, could have gone into the men’s past to give the reader a deeper connection to the characters and should have been a more in depth showing of the parents response after a blatant rejection(you’ll have to listen to understand). I don’t think it was enough to detract from the overall enjoyment of the message of this book. I loved the individual battles they all to face and overcome. I loved the intense attraction and crazy hot sex scenes. Most of all, I loved the narration.

Ava, Jacob and Jason were freaking on fire with their narration. Perfection for these characters. I will definitely be listening to this book again and again.

Not a typical threesome...

This book is not only erotically hot, but also a beautiful love story.
The author walks us through a polyamorous relationship that works very well once the kinks are ironed out. Instead of 3 people just jumping in and going at it, she builds 1 on 1 relationships, then makes it work as a whole. Making this listen about the love and romance not just sex. The writing coupled with the narration made this a very enjoyable experience. Definitely credit worthy.

Hot and Heavy with an Emotional Pull.

When I first saw this book was to be released I knew I had to have it. It was even more than I expected.
This isn’t just a menage book. There are plenty of hot and steamy scenes but this story went a little deeper. The author takes you into the dynamic of a ménage relationship and how each partner plays a role not only physically but emotionally.
I listened to this on audio and I couldn’t get enough!!!
All three narrators were FANTASTIC!!
Not only did they sound their parts but they flowed together in their performance.
Jacob Morgan, Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke are three of my go to narrators so having them collaborate on this story was EPIC!!
Will is reserved and has a very male presence which was perfect for Jason Clarke. He totally nailed it! Then Sullivan is the easy going and relaxed fun one of the two men where Jacob Morgan brought his A game with his interpretation. Then of course you have Adrienne who is the timid yet beautiful woman who comes into their lives and Ava Erickson fit the role to a T.
All in all, this was a favorite Listen of mine and I can’t wait for more from Lola Leighton!!!!

All I can say is... wow!!

Adrienne has met two incredible men who shared everything... a house, business, women.... even undies. (gasp!) Will and Sullivan were two awesome buddies who wanted everything equal and don't keep secrets. Adrienne couldn't get enough of both of them, and she might even be in love. But with whom?

Two heads are indeed better than one, that's for sure. Bedfellows by Lola Leighton is my first ménage story and it didn't disappoint. Listening to three different voices and getting to know the characters as they delved into this taboo relationship has been one exciting experience.

Lola Leighton is a pseudonym of a best selling author who had continuously impressed me. To date, this is the most daring I've read and heard from her and the story is quite unconventional. This is definitely one of her great stories yet!

4 hands are better than 2!

I have never read a ménage book before. It was way more than I thought when going in. There was more feelings and emotions than I thought would be in this story. What was I thinking! This was just three times the emotions, three times the feelings, three times the fear, and three times the love.

I flew through this story within one day. I couldn’t stop listening!! The characters were all sweet and caring. I really enjoyed their openness and willingness to try. The story is incredibly sweet and fulfilling. It gives you what could be a real look inside a different type of relationship... it seems plausible and that’s what makes it appealing. I was so happy with the ending. I was hoping for an ending that left me happy with the conclusion... really I went in wondering how it could end happily.

The narrators... Ava Erickson, Jacob Morgan, and Jason Clarke have perfectly soothing voices that pull you into the story. Even though we have two male narrators they really differed from each other. They were both strong and masculine but you get one narrator that comes off a bit softer than the other but he’s more carefree and fun. Their personalities were reflected well in their voices.

Good MMF

Reading the description of this book I was under the impression that it was going to end in a tangled mess with broken hearts. I was totally wrong. This was a sweet MMF story. Sullivan, Will and Adriane find a way to make a perfect family. Adriane has a traditional family background, Will and Sullivan are life long friends that were raised in a group home together and do everything together including sharing their women. In this story they discover a new way to love and make it work for them regardless of how anyone else feels about it. Great narration.

Sweet Menage

I am quickly falling in love with menages like this. Just when you think its going to be your everyday MFM story, two characters begin to realize there is more between them then just sharing a 3rd person. This book helped make me fall in love with these types of books. The relationships between the individual characters and the relationship as a whole is so unique and loving. I love how Adrienne has different jokes and quirks with each of the guys.

The narration was great! Ava seems to have found her niche with the menage genre!

Super sexy, light, quick and easy

Whoah. Scorching hot! I’m not sure I’ve read any ménage books, none that I remember anyway. This one however, I won’t be forgetting in a hurry. Entertaining, fun, sizzling hot with so much chemistry between all three characters, I loved it. Light, quick and easy, following best friends Sullivan and Will, two friends who share everything, I mean everything. Together they are looking for a woman to share their life with, together. It would appear to be their lucky night when Adrienne plows into the back of Sullivan’s beloved truck. Now, can they get Adrienne (a girl brought up with traditional values) on board with a little two on one action? Narration was absolutely perfect. I could have listened to these three all day.

Fab Audio, I really liked the narrators 👌

I just listened to this on audio, a hot little ménage between Will Sullivan & Adrianne.

With pasts being something so awful for the guys to look back at they tried to make sure going forward in their future they were strong supportive of each other.

But the life of 2 didn’t end there they shared everything, including woman so when Adrianne came along well we she was like a breathe of fresh air for them, but with the things she was curious about would either bring the 2 guys even closer or tare them apart!
