The Art and Science of Prayer

I was a bit skeptical at first given the very churchy and cliche’ driven narrative in this book. I prayed for the ability to move past that skepticism and it paid off tremendously. There are many great and carefully studied stories and history provided by author Mark Batterson that illustrate the concept of this 40 day prayer challenge. For those wishing to enrich their faith and develop a stronger fluency in the language of prayer, this is a must read. I am now re-listening to this insightful, compelling and easy-to-listen-to narrative for a third time. Mark speaks from the heart and let’s you in.
