Already helping me!

Before I even finished the book, I already started implementing steps to feel better about myself. Once I bought “clothes that fit,” I started seeing myself as worth a second glance, and things built up from there. I love journaling, and I love her self-care suggestions. Hearing her book read in her own velvety voice is a huge plus! Karen is hilarious. I went to high school with her—not that it gives me special status, it’s just so interesting to hear where life can take a person, or what a person WENT through that you never even knew about. (Kudos for sharing that painful history!) She’s a super strong, dedicated, talented lady, and I’m thrilled she is sharing her story and helping tons of women, including me! I never expected I would need this book when she told me she was writing it, and yet, here I am after an unexpected divorce. Case in point, you never know what’s around the corner! Aha! I knew I wasn’t alone!

We all have our stories, each unique. I enjoyed Karen’s openness as she opened one door after the next of her own life experiences. Her suggestions a not overwhelming or unrealistic. They are simple suggestions to work on in small little bites as often as possible. It’s really refreshing to know it’s going to work, it’s going to become a habit and it’s good for me! Diving into each chapter I realized I wanted to apply this to so many different parts of my life, not just in a relationship with my spouse (future spouse for some)but more so applying it to the relationship I have with myself! Enjoy the read! It will definitely move you!

A Must Listen Book!!!

I absolutely love this audio book! Hearing Karen speak her story out loud adds so much to her book, and I love the interviews between the chapters too! This is such a powerful book for anyone that is looking for more in their life. All of Karen’s strategies apply to anyone, not just single moms. I have taken many of Karen’s strategies and use them in my life everyday. Do yourself a favor and get this book. You’ll be so glad that you did. Don't let the title fool you

I'm not single, and I'm not a mom, so I didn't really expect to like this as much as I did. Every chapter was packed with super insightful, solid strategies for anyone looking to better themselves and get what they want out of life. I'm glad I took the chance on this book and would absolutely recommend the listen.
