This book forever stands out in my mind from all of Catherine’s books! I loved it when I read it and listening to it brought it to life in a different way! I love Tessa and Liam!

Review of Beautifully Broken Life

The narrators did such a good job! Loved it!!

These are the kind of stories that need to be told. Also, I recommend reading Beautifully Broken Pieces before this book because it will give away the ending to book 1.

This book hit close to home and I felt for Tessa. This book is a small town romantic suspense. You fall in love with all it's characters. Tessa is a survivor. Liam is so patient and kind. He is exactly the kind of guy Tessa needed him to be. Liam was dealing with a situation that occurs in real life with celebrities as well. It was a very frightening situation both of these characters were in. This book had me at the edge of my seat while waiting for something to pop off. I was surprised by 1 character is all I will say because I do not want to give anything away. If Catherine Cowles writes it I will be reading it. She is the queen of romantic suspense. Absolutely loved this book. I got goosebumps at one point. This book did not disappoint.

Emotional & heartbreaking story!

I was so excited when I saw that this book was going to be about Tessa and Liam! I love a woman on the run trope & there were so many times I wanted to give Tessa the biggest hug after learning about all she experienced & why she was hiding. Liam was fighting his own battles but I love that they found peace, love, and healing in each other. They truly were the perfect match!

This definitely had a lot more angst & emotion than the first book and there are definitely some more sensitive topics so definitely check your trigger warnings before reading.

Maxine Mitchel and Aaron Shedlock absolutely nailed this one & truly did such an amazing job bringing the story to life & all the emotions that come with it! Add it to your audio TBR for sure!

Heartfelt

Throughly enjoying the series. Can be read separately and reconnects with previous characters. Loved the MMC’s compassion and understanding. This book had mystery, family togetherness, love and a HEA.

I am hooked on this series and all the characters. Kinda makes me wish there was a place and people like this in real life. Such a great read.

Catherine Cowles is a new author that I discovered while searching for something new to read (because I was in a book funk) and boy, am I glad I stumbled upon this series! These romantic suspense stories that take place in a small town settings filled with charm, sexy times, humor, friendship, and secrets are worth every credit spent. One of the best things for me in each of the stories is the feisty grandmother meddling and imparting her special brand of wisdom. Maxine Mitchell is a narrator that took a very long time to grow on me but she has won me over to her special brand of narration and she’s done an excellent job with this audiobook. Aaron Shedlock’s narration was good as well. He’s not as emotionally sound when performing the female voices but he delivers on the male versions of characters. I look forward to listening to the remaining books in the series 👏🏾😍🥰

So much to love!!

I loved the first one, but this was possibly even better. Drama and love. Just how I like my romance novels.

The narrators were good. But I gave them 3 stars because of the male narrator. His female versions are not that good, but his normal voice is comforting.

Heartbreak And Healing

Loved the storyline. The characters are tortured souls trying to hide and heal but end up finding their forever. The narrators do a great job.

Good series

Lot more drama than I thought there would be. Could use a little less graphic details on murder scenes. Always love these narrators.
