As the person responsible for taking down a brutal human trafficker, Alice Appleton fears retaliation at every turn. No one knows about her past, which is exactly how she prefers it…until the sexy cop next door comes knocking. Detective Reese Bareden thinks he knows what makes women tick, but his ever-elusive neighbor keeps him guessing like no other. Is his goal to unmask Alice's secrets? Or protect her from a dangerous new threat? One thing is certain: Their chemistry is a time bomb waiting to explode. And with no one to trust but each other, Reese and Alice are soon drawn into a deadly maze of corruption, intrigue and desire - and into the line of fire….

Where does Bare It All rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It's worthy of a listen. Not at the top but it is a series I'm interested in.What about Jim Frangione’s performance did you like?
He's as good as ever.Any additional comments?

Alice is a secondary character from another book written by Lori Foster, 'Trace of Fever'. It isn't necessary to have read that book to understand the trauma that Alice has gone through that has left her wary of her surroundings and isolated from her family (but, seriously, that too is an excellent book and well worth a credit!).
While I very much enjoyed the first book in this series (Run the Risk), Alice is my favourite character due to her quirks and her strength of character so I loved listening to her story. Worth a credit? Oh yes, absolutely!
Steamy Suspenseful Sequel!

I really liked this one, I had not read the first one in the series but had no problem following the story. We met Alice in the the second "Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor" series, and I am glad we get to see her again and that she gets a HEA. And it was pretty cool to see Trace too.
As with all the men in these books, Reese falls hard and fast for Alice, he wants to know her secrets and Alice is afraid of what Reese will think of her when he finds out the truth about her past...amidst all of this is the search for the "bad" cops within the ranks and then Alice gets herself involved in a whole new mess by assisting a girl in need.
I loved seeing Alice come out of her shell and not only get involved with Reese but make new friends and get back in touch with her family. This was a great read and I cannot wait for Rowdy's book....I also wonder if Dash will get his book with Lieutenant Peterson??
So now I want to go back and read all the Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor books then the fist book in this series and then this one again....

We met Detective Reese Bareden and his neighbor Alice Appleton in book one, Run The Risk. Reese rescues a stray dog, brings it home and then realizes that it’s still young and really shouldn’t be left home alone during the day. He’d seen Alice in his building, thought she worked from home, so he approaches her to see if she’d be willing to dog sit during Reese’s long days at the office. Alice agrees. She doesn’t say much to Reese, keeps the conversation “dog” related. Reese, however, is really intrigued by Alice. He thinks she is beautiful but knows she doesn’t think so. He can tell by how she dresses and carries herself. Alice, however, shows no interest in Reese, only Cash, Reese’s dog............ This story grabbed me and didn’t let me go. It’s everything I look for in a romance and while not labeled “suspense” there is some of that in here as it pertains to the case Reese and Logan are working on. But the character who stole the show for me in here was Alice. It’s impossible to describe her totally without giving too much away, but suffice it to say that she’s scarred from her past and has trouble trusting people. If that weren’t enough, she carries a lot of guilt for what happened, even though it really and truly was not her fault. She did what she had to do to survive; but she lives with that every day of her life. It’s caused her to be a bit of an introvert and she’s even cut ties with her family. Alice is super intelligent and though she’s extremely careful with people she immediately senses that Reese is someone she can trust. And he’s gorgeous and sexy and she loves to just look at him............. The introduction of the case that Alice inadvertently lends herself to brings just a little bit of mystery and suspense to this story. It allows the author to continue the human trafficking storyline while adding the twist of drug trafficking to it. At the same time, she provides a nice set up for the next story by highlighting Rowdy Yates, our next hero............Ultimately, what I really loved about this story was the focus on Reese and Alice and their budding relationship. They get a lot of page time, talking and getting to know each other and we see a lot of character growth in Alice. We see her break out of her self-imposed solitary lifestyle and develop friendships, gaining additional confidence in herself as a woman. Reese is patient and single minded in the fact that Alice is the one for him and that comes through strongly as well. I loved how these two are always honest and upfront, voicing their thoughts and bringing everything out into the open............
From start to finish I love this book and in true Lori Foster style we get very passionate sex and full on Alpha male romance.

Foster brings another heartbreakingly brilliant alpha male to the forefront with this tale. t was almost comical at times watching him fight against his desires. I appreciate how multifaceted each character in this novel is, be they main characters or supporting cast. No one is one sided. I also loved seeing them all come together.
Overall? I felt like I was watching a crossover episode of my favourite shows. It was brilliant and I can’t wait to reread it in print. It’s one of those stories that stays with you.
sweet, hot, & suspenseful

Would you try another book from Lori Foster and/or Jim Frangione?
Yes. I've listened to other LF books and JF's narration. It took me awhile to get used to JF and he got better & better with each narration, however, both LF & JF were quite disappointing this time. The story was somewhat mundane and predictable and the narration was more of a "reading" than a narration. There were no differences in the voices and inflections were off. Really sad this time. I was so looking forward to this one. What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Not much excitement or interest. The least interesting thing was the fact that the entire story was a little boring.Did Jim Frangione do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
No.What would have made this romance irresistible?
Better narration.Any additional comments?
Quite disappointing.QUITE DISAPPOINTED !!!

I am so grateful to Ms. Foster for bringing human & drug trafficking to the fore-front. It is a huge problem and can't be talked about enough. Bringing it to the light, acknowledging the problem is the first step in irredicating it.
The narration was wonderful.

Would you listen to Bare It All again? Why?
Probably, the book held my attention and the characters were well rounded out making me able to connect with them. What did you like best about this story?
It included all the past characters and tied in very well with the first book. A continuation of the first book instead of another story in a series. What about Jim Frangione’s performance did you like?
Nothing stood out, he was easy to listen to.If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
I'm not very good with this question. :(Any additional comments?
Worth the money or credit.Good second installment
