Great read!

The book was very interesting and entertaining. A great summer time read. Thanks for writing it. Will look forward to more from this author.

Maybe it’s me, but it was too slow

I feel like this book could have been a whole lot shorter and that would have made it a whole lot better. I listened into Chapter 14, a little over halfway. Then I skipped to the final chapter because it felt excruciatingly slow. I may speed it up and go back, but don’t feel the need. I will say I already had my suspicions about who was behind everything, but wasn’t at all sure. The narration was great, but a bit deliberate, though I think that will help if I decide to speed things up. I think the author got bogged down in the emotional minutiae and lost the overall story. Again just skip the excruciatingly slow overthinking and get the story moving. More action and less angst.

Interesting Plot

This is a new author for me. I really enjoyed the characters and story line. I will definitely read more of Lori Foster books.

DARE-ing to love

Dare's mission becomes complicated when along with his best friends sister he also rescues another woman from traffickers in Mexico.

Holly is not like the usual victims and he soon realises that a hidden agenda is at work.

Taking her home he agrees to protect her and find out who arranged the kidnapping. As he struggles to find out the truth he grows closer to the feisty romantic suspense author with a gentle heart and a steel backbone.

If he can keep her safe, he might just decide to keep her with him always. If he can keep her safe!

I enjoyed listening to this intriguing book with compelling characters and cool narration by Jim that made me long for more by both author and narrator.

I love Jim Frangione!!

I will listen to this book again. The story plot is great. The performance is perfect! I couldn't quite listening.
