James seems hellbent on destroying my future. But maybe there’s a way for us to build a new one together...

Sweetest Sunset

I know it's overused, and I'm not the biggest fan of the saying though I like the general idea behind it - anyway, the point is if I had to describe this book in a few words, it would be: it is what it is.

I love how we're shown that no matter how you try to control things, life happens, and ultimately, you end up where you should. And this couple....this couple is everything. I need more.

These sisters know how to write a story, and Michael Dean is the king of excellent book narration. I definitely recommend.

I enjoyed this just like the authors other books. and I love the always have an HEA

Wonderful

Michael Dean is my favorite narrator! The numerous voices brings a story to life.
Lennox books have rarely failed to please. I’d hoped the others in this series would be set in the same town. As I love series stories.
Regardless, this lifted my spirits.

Cute story

This story is about an inn on the Cape. It was an enjoyable easy read. I liked how much grit Sawyer had and never wanted to give up on his dream.

Cute but cliché 

This was a cute fluffy listen. A bit cliche, nothing super unique. The insta love trope isn’t my favorite, but I think having maybe a little more time pass would have made it more believable.

You can’t go wrong with anything these authors write! I really enjoyed James and Sawyer’s love story. I was very happy with the ending!

Yet another great book!

OMG! Omg! Perfect book, wonderful narrator - I missed you guys so much. I love this series and really wish for Oscar’s book to be next or... not? Maybe a couple more before the epic (I’m sure it would be exactly that) book about our boy Oscar. Thank you authors for such a great time ❤️

Enemies to lovers with all the feels

I’m a huge Lucy Lennox/Molly Maddox fan and when I found out this book was coming to audio, I was ecstatic. Enemies to Lovers in one of my favorite tropes – when it’s done well. In this case, it’s done very well.

Sawyer owns a family caravan park by the ocean. It’s been in his family for eighty years and despite its desperate need for renovation, he’s dedicated to keeping it going. He lost his parents tragically when he was in high school and has, very recently, lost both grandparents. He’s a quarter owner of the property with his three uncles and where he sees potential, they see dollar signs.

James is a big shot New York lawyer. He works for a ruthless man who decides he wants property and will do anything to acquire it. Often at the point he loses interest – for him it’s all about the chase, the hunt. James lives on adrenaline, and securing the property in this little itty bitty town on Cape Cod is a no-brainer. He just has to see how little he can pay for the valuable property.

So there’s the conflict – James wants to buy and Sawyer doesn’t want to sell. And it’s all about the arguments and debates and, eventually, the reality. That each finds the other sexy. That there’s good within each of them. That they might even fall in love. With a conflict so strong and defined, and with no way out, I did wonder how I was going to get my happy ending – one would have to yield, right? Give up everything he’s wanted?

Ah, but I wasn’t creative enough – which is why I’m the reader and Maddox/Lennox are the authors. I got my happy ending with all the wonderful feels without feeling cheated. Man, Sawyer and James had to work hard for their happily ever after, but I think that made it all the more special.

Okay, time to mention Michael Dean. I’ve said so many good things about him, but it bears repeating that he’s talented and did a great job with this audio. There are two more books in the series and I can’t wait.

Great!

As expected, Michael Dean did an amazing job!
As for the book itself: the story was great, the characters were great, and the ending was even better. Hopefully we’ll get more books in this series and Oscar will get his HEA soon.

Best in the Trilogy

I thought this was the best book in the trilogy. Wish there had been a little more about the infamous Oscar. Perfectly narrated.
