I have nothing left.

One moment of weakness seven years ago, and I lost my job, my art, and my only friend. Now I’m working nights at a gas station to scrape together a living and a way to care for my sister, and I’m completely alone.

And then I see him on the front page of the newspaper, my former college student and the man who ruined my life seven years ago. Ryan Bell.

So I carve a statue of the devil and I give the devil Bell’s face. I leave it for the world to see. I shouldn’t have done it. I should have known he’d use the statue to hunt me, find me, offer a deal that demands my soul. He wants one year of me—all of me—and then he’ll make my problems go away. How can I refuse? When it’s my only chance of salvation? How can I refuse even when I know Ryan Bell will leave me with a broken heart—again? But it’s my own fault…I should have stayed hidden, I shouldn’t have revealed how the memory of him haunts me still. I was the one who spoke of the devil, after all. I can’t be surprised that he appeared.

*(This is the fourth full-length standalone in the Priest Collection, featuring Father Bell's youngest brother, Ryan Bell. You do not have to listen to Priest, Sinner, or Saint to listen to Devil.)

What a great ending to the Bell brothers story. Although Sean is still my favorite, Ryan comes a close second. Loved every second of this!

So good!

Wow. This book was unexpected, and I think Devil might actually be my favorite of the entire series, with Saint as a very close second. 😭🖤

Birdie broke my heart. She spent so much of her life giving everything to everyone else that she had almost nothing left for herself. And Ryan? Obsessive, complicated, devoted, slightly unhinged… obviously I loved him.

Honestly, I think I enjoyed this one the most out of all four. Ryan’s devotion, Birdie’s journey, and the way their relationship developed absolutely got me. I cried, I loved it, and I already want to read it again. 🖤

Well… Stalker Kink Unlocked 😈🔓” 😂

Of course It expected the sexy parts but the rawness of Ryan and the vulnerability of Birdie were an added bonus. The book was filled with such passion. I loved every minute of it. The narrators were perfectly selected. They played their parts A+

Incredible

Outstanding audiobook—Jacob Morgan/Zachary Webber in Duet with a woman who is new to me. One of his best performances to date, and that’s saying something! Ch 5….damn!

I can see what Sierra Simone was trying to do with this story. With all the Trigger Warnings in the beginning, it kinda ruined the story a bit, and had me prepared for a much darker story than it actually was. I was left feeling Ryan Bell wasn’t nearly as horrible as the title implies.

Priest and Saint were much better books, but I don’t regret spending one Audible credit to get this. And I say this as someone who read Priest ten years ago, before BookTok turned it into a thing.

One of Jacob Morgan’s best performances

I’m not churchy at all. Infact I have a deep hate for it as an indigenous person whom survived boarding schools. I’ve loved this series since the beginning. I love seeing the loving side of any entity as I know it must exist. This author has shown a new side of the church. I’m not sure how to explain but the author has gone above and beyond in educating people re mental health and the humans who believe there is a loving God regardless of sins or preconceived sins/church expectations.

Not my normal genre but well done all around.
