Great narration!

This book had all the whimsical vacation vibes. I loved the premise of getting away and letting loose, especially as Capri was a bit of an A-type, wanting to plan and control everything!! If only we all had a sister that could get us out of our head the way Collie does. The scenes were written beautifully and it was easy to imagine the beauty while they were in Italy. Jones is a broody MMC but has an insta-lust connection with Capri that they really took advantage of during their fling. Things really get interesting on the romance front when the vacation ends though.

I really enjoyed the narration! Sebastian York can do no wrong in my book and he played the broody MMC to perfection. Stefanie Kay is also extremely talented and managed the dual-style narration so well. She handled both sister’s vastly different personalities with ease.

🤩 These gorgeous book covers—how could I not want the Meadows sister in my life?!
🤩 The dual narration is gorgeous, and Capri & Jones are cast and performed so well by Stefanie Kay & Sebastian York!!
🤩 Oh, what a sad, mad, emotional beginning to this story. It’s written so well. The dementia storyline is also very well written.
🤩 That meet-cute! That instant and never ceasing chemistry!
🤩 The yacht. The hot tub. The piña colada at the picnic table by the sea. 🥵🌶️🔥
🤩 How they naturally take care of each other.
🤩 The meet-again storyline totally worked on me.
🤩 Steamy goodness after the drama & time apart—thank you!

What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
💫 I just got done reading another trip to Italy, so my senses wanted to experience Italy a bit more.
💫 Ugh, I don’t to hear about all the messin’ around. I want to experience it, especially when you tease me about the office desk.
💫 I was really worried about the hurt with only 10-12% left of the book, but the author executed it all so well—I’m healed and in love.
💫 Thanks to The Author Agency for the gifted eARC of Collie, but I can’t seem to make myself read it knowing the audiobook is coming soon. I’ve got issues, I know.

Capri & Jones are goals 😍

I’ve read this book previously and loved listening to it just as much! Capri & Jones have so much chemistry and their stories are beautiful.

the perfect summer listen!

The audiobook sucked me in from the first chapter! I felt so sad for Capri. Getting a divorce alone is awful but adding what she went through.. oooof. But then she takes a trip to Capri with her sister and meets Jones. He is everything I love about a book boyfriend. I loved Jones right away but how he treated Capri had me swooning! He appreciated her for who she was and didn’t try to change her. Jones and his struggles with his parents pulled on my heart. I appreciated the dementia representation and I thought Indy handled that topic with care. Jones & Capri are a couple that are tattooed on my heart. The chemistry was amazing and the spice was spicccyyyyy😮‍💨(I loved it). If you need a beach or poolside read, add this to your TBR!😍

4.5 Stars ⭐️ Capri is the first book the Meadows sisters duet. Capri just divorced her horrible ex-husband and goes on vacation with her sister to Italy. There she met Jones Archer in a candy store, but then one of his employees (he owns a boat charter business) invited her sister out. Jones and Capri decided to have a fling while she was in Italy. However, feelings began to develop. Jones is an American, operating his late father’s business. His mother is back in South Carolina, in a facility for people with dementia. After their fling in Italy, Capri and Jones discover that they lived in the same small town, but because he was only there for 3 months out of the year for last 10 years, they never crossed paths. This gave Capri and Jones time to develop their relationship. However, Capri still hadn’t fully dealt with how she and her ex-husband broke up.

Jones is a polite guy, but he has a very dirty mouth in the bedroom room. I really liked the storyline with his mother. Capri is very damaged from what happened to the point where she had trouble making big decisions, which makes perfect sense when someone went through was Capri went to. I loved that she was the one who groveled, and the characters were mature enough to work things out without unnecessary drama. The chemistry and romance between Capri and Jones was fantastic. The plot was entertaining.

Indy Valentine is a new author, and Capri was her third book. It was well paced, the characters were developed well, and she was able to capture the settings with words that made it possible for me to see in my mind’s eye. I look forward to reading more from her. The audiobook was fantastic, and Sebastian York and Stefanie Kay’s narrations were on point! They captured the emotions and spice well.
