Pretending to be fake engaged to my enemy might not be my brightest idea.
But it is definitely necessary.
On the brink of the biggest car show of my career, I start to panic because it’s the first time I have to see my ex since our break-up. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t clean or amicable.
Then when Elliot Thorne’s ex-fiancé shows back up in town, I devise a plan for both of us to get what we want: a buffer from our exes with a dash of revenge.
The problem is Elliot takes his role to protect me too seriously.
He brings me food while I’m working to make sure I eat. He even silences the self-doubt I feel on a day-to-day basis.
And before I know it, he has me on my knees in my garage, and on my back on the hood of my car.
The hate I’ve harbored toward him melts away as fast as my panties, and I soon realize we have more in common than I thought.
Then he tells me a secret that makes me reevaluate our entire relationship.
Now I’m left to consider if something fake could be real…And that maybe it’s about time I admit that Elliot isn’t my enemy after all.

Elliot and Dilynne have the explosive chemistry and I loved seeing it come a live. Elliot is the best friend of Dilynne's brother. The banter between these to is top notch and I couldn't stop from laughing out loud from time to time while reading. I enjoyed how they were never selfish and they both supported each other. I swooned a lot harder over Elliot than I thought I would. He definitely held some major book boyfriend moments in this one. One of my favorite things about Dilynne is how she wanted to stand on her own she no one blocked her shine. And the way Elliot stood beside her and let her shine made him even more loved by me.
James Cassidy and Mollie Stark narrate this one in duet with some of the best work I have heard. I loved the way that Mollie captured the sass in Dilynne's character. James portrayed Elliot in the best way with is growly voice that carries a roughness to it. Both did an excellent job bringing this book to my ears and I loved every minute of it.
I have loved this series from the start! I would highly recommend that you listen to this series in order.

The banter between these two was top-tier, making this one of my favorite enemies-to-lovers romances. Their chemistry was undeniable, and the tension had me hooked from beginning to end.
I absolutely loved Dilynne. She was sassy, confident, and completely owned her place in a male-dominated mechanic world. Watching her prove herself while never backing down made me love her even more. And Elliot? Whew…that man had the filthiest mouth in the best way! But beyond that, I loved how fiercely he supported Dilynne. Whether it was showing off her car, bragging about her talent, or cheering her on at the car show, he was always her biggest hype man. He saw how incredible she was and made sure everyone else knew it too. He was exactly the kind of man Dilynne deserved.
I’m always a sucker for a fake dating (or fake engagement) trope, and this book reminded me exactly why. Watching these two pretend while slowly falling for each other was so much fun, and every moment had me smiling.
The audiobook was incredible. Molly Stark and James Cassidy delivered phenomenal performances. They brought so much emotion, humor, and chemistry to these characters that it felt like I was right there with them. Their narration elevated an already amazing story, and I truly can’t imagine anyone else voicing Dilynne and Elliot.
This was the perfect conclusion to the Blossom Peak series, and I’m so sad to say goodbye to these characters.
Amazing!

Harlow has been teasing us with Dylinne and Elliot since the beginning of the series and y'all this did NOT disappoint! A fake relationship was the PERFECT set up for them. I had a feeling there was something hiding beneath all that animosity and hate and let me tell you, the wait paid off 😮💨
Dylinne was so sassy and had such a sharp tongue, she had me cackling so many times with some of the jabs she would throw at Elliot. She's has such a strong personality but I loved seeing her more vulnerable side and all the insecurities she carried. Her growth was so beautiful to see!
Elliot really surprised me! I really thought he was just gonna be another womanizer-who-went-through-a-heartbreak-and-swore-off-relationships-completely-until-the-right-girl-came-along but that wasn't the case AT ALL! Elliot had so much depth to him and I loved his character.
I loved their banter, their chemistry, the tension between them and the emotional journey they went through. They helped each other heal and grow in such a beautiful way. I couldn't have asked for a better ending to this series!
