Damn MC you killed me with that last chapter 😭 I'm going to be re-listening to this series for a long time and I'm going to dread that last chapter looking forward to the next book keep them coming

Excellent series

I like military styled books and fantasy, this one has both an excellent story and great narration. Quickly becoming one of my favorite series.

Quit Making Me Cry

Excellently written and performed book, but I'm so tired of Chatfield getting us acquainted with side characters only to kill them off (just to show emotional depth or character development for the MCs). I don't like this brand of gritty realism when what I want is escapism, no matter how well written it is. I'm sure others will love it, but it's done all the time in his books. I'm over it.
