Early death flags avoided. Time to build an empire.

With a half-frozen fortress, a vampire sister who hits like a natural disaster, and a blood-drinking dryad fertilizing his fields, I have everything I need to found a kingdom.

All I have to do is outmaneuver a werewolf plague, keep a wind mage addicted to my blood-spiked drugs, and survive a royal court full of nobles who smile while they plot my execution.

I've played this game. I know how every major event is supposed to go.

The problem? I've already changed too much.

Book 2 of this new Isekai LitRPG Series from Xkarnation, the bestselling author behind Reborn as a Demonic Tree.

I’m loving how this story is progressing and how future hurtles are being set up. I’m excited for the next book

Love the op sister

I would say the story is the weakest part. It's too tangled up in itself, and there always seems to be something surprising thrown in from the left field.

Spoilers below
The surprise friendly vampires, surprise bloodline upgrade, surprise revelation of MC's hobby of watching economics videos all seemed forced while having poor narrative weight (aside from Vanity).

And all the relationship baiting with other women seems trite.

The book did great as a second book of the series. Narration was great and the writer kept a fantastic pace. Excited for the third book!

IMO the story followed its own rules. Progression pacing was fine. It seemed on par with the characters tendencies, and any deviations from previous lines of thinking were properly explained and justified. I enjoyed the evolution of the characters and story, and the narrator continues to do an excellent job. Ready for the next one.

Don’t trust the negative comments.
