Melodramatic

MC just feels like a fake person. Her attitude seems to reset at the beginning of the book. The love interest is just sad, trauma is not a relationship. her morals are fake bullshit and just don’t make any sense. She has so many options and tools that she has and ignores them. that bs makes the book more frustrating. (Ok it might be personal but I have a right to complain)

Good stuff

The MC is a bit whiny and the voice over was mid but overall I enjoyed this one decent progress with good character interaction not much to complain about.

Fun story, awful writing

So, I'm really enjoying this series and will read the next one. That being said, it's insane that nobody was hired to edit the book before publishing and charging for it.

She uses words and phrases incorrectly *constantly*. It's often hard to tell whether the narrator misspeaks or the author just doesn't know the definition of the words she's using.

Enjoyable

It’s a great thing when the author makes a concerted effort to make a main character that the audience will like. I believe it’s one factors that makes this series so much fun to listen to. So, I always look forward to next book in this series, and I hope others will consider this book series as well.
